I'm including primary people, like people who have appeared in cut-scenes, missions or radio hosts, for example. I'm not including people who phone in to WCTR or anything.

There is a guy called Maurice on the radio, but he doesn't have the same accent/voice. So I don't think it's him.

The forrelli family exists but Forrellis are like Kenny's-- they are just there to die-- so can't go from game to game.

the general consensus is that 8-ball is not CJ (I forget all the reasons-- there is a thread on this at gtaforums)-- even though 8-ball says "my name is CJ, but they call me 8-ball" in GTA3-- but if Jimmy thinks they are the same person, then I'll add that to the list-- but I believe the CJ--8-ball connection is not confirmed.

I think I remember hearing a commercial with Maurice Chavez on it-- not sure--but he is not a host.

And this is kind of minor-- but the woman DJ for one of the stations is voiced by the conservative woman (Jan) on VCPR-- the one where she talks about homeshooling her kids and teaching them about hunting and her husband cheats on her and stuff-- but I don't believe the characters are the same.
 
There are a few people that call in on WCTR that are from previous GTA's, like Jack Howitzer, but I'm not including them. Spuds was close, but he missed two people. ;)

EDIT: And also, I don't think CJ is 8-Ball. They look quite different. I just think that Rockstar couldn't think of a stand-out name, and looked to that instead. No connection to me.

Blake - Who's Claude Speed? If he calls in on the Radio, then like I said, I'm not including. And the two that are missing are definately in-game characters.

Aha! I've got it. It's Jethro and the other stoner dude, I can't remember his name - the 2 mechanics who worked at the Boatyard in Vice City.

I thought it might be them, since they were introduced as being from VC

I honestly don't recall anyone working at the boatyard in VC???

I killed everyone there in the fastest boat....

Were they there in the cutscene when you buy it??? if not where???
 
I'm assuming you can read the previous posts-- as long as those 2 are correct, you were the first to know all of them.

I still want to know what exactly they did in VC

They were the two stoned boat mechanics that Tommy meets when he buys the Boatyard.

This is from the game script. I found it at gamefaqs.com

Now I gotta think of a question.

that sounds vaguely familar-- I must have clicked through the cut scene the last few times through. If so, I last saw that 2 years ago.

They were in the cutsce4ne when you buy it.

Now KM, who gets the question, you for mentioning one name or me for both...

Okay, my question:

During Mike Toreno's mission, Interdiction, after you collect the rocket launcher, you're given a choice of continuing in the vehicle you're already using, or picking one of 3 other vehicles he's left out for you.

Name them.

Quad, Sanchez, and the dune buggy type vehicle. I forget the name it was a one time car so I wasn't paying attention to the name.

Those are the three for sure.

What was the name of the mission when you stole an Elegy and a the subaru looking one(sorry I suck with names) with Cesar?

Nah I wasn't trying to imply that 8-ball was CJ or anything like that... but 8-ball has garages in SA, VC and he's a character in 3 so I thought that he might be one on the list... despite the fact that you don't actually see him in SA or VC.
