Sandwich anyone? Update + a lot more pics on post 13.

Here in Harrisonburg there is not much of a tuning scene, me and PB are practically the tuning scene, everything else consists of mexicans in automatic civics with Autozone "performance" mufflers that smash into things like coca cola trucks and blue miatas, the other side of it is rednecks that just cant wait to make their tires bald so that they become slicks, remove the vacuum hose from the brake booster to the intake manifold because it will "increase engine performance" and cut out a 1x1 foot hole thorough their uni-body so that their engine can "get more air" even though the front bumper on for focuses has no such venting...sadly enough this is just the tip of the iceberg. At least I got the coolest mountain road 20 min away right on the Appalachians where I can go and do what I love.

I'm getting a Miata as soon as I get the funds, unless a nice Hachiroku comes around, which is unlikely where I live.

The rednecks around Peoria are decidedly well heeled, though: I see more hopped-up diesel 3/4 and 1-ton pickups, with lift kits or other such nonsense, stacks through the bed, and, sometimes, Semi truck logos in place of the normal logo on the nose. Also the typical IROC-Z Camaros and 5.0 Mustangs, raised a foot in the rear and huge engine mods. We have some Ricer Civics and Eclipses: there's one orange Eclipse running around here with half a bodykit (the rest was ripped off) and wires hanging down over the road. I've even seen a regular '02 Lancer. Not the Evo, a Lancer, with a body kit to "Look" like an Evo, or as fast as one, anyway, but the stock rims didn't fool me. And get into the bad section of town, you get the Donks, mostly Buicks. But there's a fair number of proper tuners here, too. I see a nice white Z32 now and then, and there was once a sorely undervalued SW20 MR2 for sale nearby, that was for awhile because no-one knew what it was.
