Hey guys the Corvette Festival Week 3 is tomorrow night. The theme is Corvette ZR1. The 3 ZR1 generations will be the stars this Week. Which means this batch contains my personal favorite Corvette road car to drive. That would the C6 ZR1. Which in my opinion is still the all around best package released for the Corvette that I've driven in a video game. And it's only Corvette road car that can get an Active LSD.

For the nordschleife races SM and SS are allowed and a pitstop is required, but we dont have to use both tire compounds, corrects?

I guess I have some testing to do
There is no tire requirements. I tried to make it that SM can last the full race though not without grip loss. I think using SM will work out better for C6 ZR1 the with the C7 ZR1. Due to their fuel range.

Oh important notes. First for those who are new. I use the initial fuel setting. To simulate fuel lose in order for your car to take the start. While at shorter venues this usually isn't a major issue. However longer tracks like the Nurburgring. It can have a major impact for the 1st stint. The C6 ZR1 will start with 88% and the C7 ZR1 with 87% of fuel remaining.

Also there is a random chance of rain for both the C6 and C7 ZR1 Nurburgring races. Sports tires can be used in the wet. So getting caught in the rain should be a too much of a problem. Those there will be grip loss.

Corvette ZR1 Race Day Guys! Reminder that I can not wait for people for this series. Sorry if your late or not prepared.

Also reminder the 2 Nurburgring races tonight do not have their own qualifiers. Practice will be extended by 10 minutes for these races. After that the room will reset. And the field will be manually set by previous race results. New arrivals will start behind the qualified cars. In order of 1st room entry. The race will start immediately after the field is set.

I was changing my car to a different color C4 and did not realize it would rescind my entry, my mistake. Sad because C4 Zr1 is my favorite corvette. Spectating the race, pretending I had a mechanical.

Yes changing cars rescinds your entry. They have make sure the new meets Gran Turismo's regulations. That's what the checkmark button does. Sorry you miss the race. I didn't notice you weren't in until after starting. I pretended DNFs are mechanical failures.

Please read regulations carefully for Week 4 Race 2. Because it's not a real car. I decided I didn't need to be authentic. So I decided to make as close as I can Nascar short track experience out of it as possible. Restrictions are close what the Cup teams are allowed except for horsepower.

Hey guys actually I'm going to ask. Which date is better for Week 5. Saturday October 25th or Saturday November 1st? Both these are around Halloween. Also clocks Change for the US on Sun November 2nd. I'm trying not to use November 22nd. If I don't have to. Because that's Formula 1s date for Las Vegas this year.

For me personally, Nov 1 is better since I am attending a wedding Oct 25.
A wedding right before Halloween. Huh never knew a zombie and skeleton could get married but, also wouldn't be the weirdest thing I've seen so. Anyways just kidding hope you have fun. As of for the date. I'll have to hear what others says first.

12/6/25, Nurburgring 500km Porsche 962C One-Make Special

This is a Special Event Announcement. Date is flexible to the 1st three Saturdays in December. This is a salute to the 1983 Nurburgring 1000km. This will be a half distance one-make race exclusively for the Porsche 962C '88. Who's early Group C predecessor the 956 still holds both the race and qualifying lap record at Nurburgring Nordschleife layout. Records that will likely never be officially broken.

This will be a non championship 22 laps race on the Nordschleife Nordschleife layout. With and estimated duration of 2 Hours 15 Minutes in dry conditions. Yes I'm aware the race distance is short of the advertised distance. The real race was only 44 laps. I did say I noted the lack of Nordschleife use complaint for the Group C league but, wanted to give the Porsche drivers time to rust. This will likely be the last event before the release of GT7 Spec 3.
