Ah - I had "engine supplier" in my google search... that slimer pickings - and Wiki didn't have the answer either - which is unheard of!?

OK - so Sauber are definitely confirmed then - good to hear (the official F1 site doesn't have them in their team list either though - but does have photos of the cars launch!)

Its bad practice to use wikipedia as an answer book, its not particularly reliable beyond basic reading. But even so, wiki does have the correct answer this time:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sauber_C29
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Formula_One_season#Teams_and_drivers

Both pages list the Ferrari engine (listed in the technical specifications on the car page).

As for the google search, well think about it, "sauber engine supplier" isn't going to be very specific for a team thats been around 17 years in F1 and even longer before hand is it?

This doesn't...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_Sauber

And I searched on "bmw sauber engine supplier" (sans quotes) thought that it would be a pretty reasonable search string - it did find me the answer after a few clicks - but most of the results didn't have it in...

Not sure why you have to be so up your own arse about it all though - you clearly follow F1 more than I do - You obviously have a bigger e-peen than I do.

EDIT : I have just seen the following

"On 15 September 2009 it was announced that BMW Sauber had secured a buyer, Qadbak Investments Limited which said to represent European and Middle Eastern interests. However Lotus had been given the 13th and final slot in the 2010 Championship. The team were awarded what was termed a 14th entry, which hinges either on another team dropping out or all the other teams agreeing to allow 28 cars to enter the 2010 Championship.[24][25] With the withdrawal of Toyota it looks unlikely that 14 teams would make the grid in 2010 if allowed. The team will use Ferrari engines in 2010 if they are allowed to race.[26]

On November 27, 2009 it was announced that Peter Sauber would repurchase the team conditional upon the team receiving a FIA entry for the 2010 season.[27] The FIA subsequently granted Sauber an entry on December 3.[28]"

In that link - that does state it - but I was looking at the 2010 section - doh!

Great, yet more pathetic insult throwing from another member. I sometimes wonder why I bother posting answers at all...

If you don't want me to give you an answer and point out where you went wrong, don't ask the question? I mean if you really want me to be a 🤬 about it, I could have said far worse.
Or do I really need to stick smilies in every post just so you don't think I'm being snide with my posts?
