Sauber will be the next team to present their 2014 car, unveiling the C33 in an online launch some time tonight. I have no idea what time it will be launched, and from the sounds of things, it will not actually be an event like the Ferrari presentation.

Early rumours suggest that the C33 has one of the most extreme nose solutions on the grid, though whether it will be good or bad is a question that has largely gone unanswered.

I wonder what Sauber's definition of "extreme" is.

Is it their version of the Schlong-nose? A prolapsed anus like the Ferrari? Or is whatever the hell Lotus has?

Not Sauber's definition. It comes from an observer on Twitter who claims to have seen the car. Having a hard time pinning down a source.

The suggestion of the extreme solution came *after* the E22 was launched, and specifically said that the C33 would be the most extreme.

Part me hopes it isn't ugly for obvious reasons but then the other part thinks the opposite, might be some good entertainment watching people have a meltdown.....

It's a freak show contest, they are competing to design the ugliest noses possible in the history of F1.
Will Sauber take the crown? Check back here soon ;)

Rumours circulating on twitter this is what it will look like

I have seen it posted in several places, with people sticking their own watermarks on it and trying to pass it off as their own image. The quality has varied wildly, with most of them being pretty poor.

The sidepods are loads bigger than the C32 and the airbox looks very triangular.

Looks like a conservative design, maybe they're going for reliability over outright speed.

Those pictures are definatley official, tweet from th Sauber team plus the website confirms this.

This is on par with the McLaren for the best nose. It actually looks nice I think.

Those little stripes at the sides on the nose make it look very good, in my opinion :)

I like the way the struts connecting the wing to the nose are flush with the bodywork of the nose itself. It's one seamless, neat piece, like the McLaren.

First one I've looked at that from the top looks like it'll shank ya.
