Ah I see... That sucks!!

No point in importing the Prologue data then!!

not really imo, true that you will have to do the test in order to get 100% of the game, but importing the data allows you to get around the driving part of the game before doing the tests, rasing you chances to not fail the test so easily because you didn't know how to handle the car properly. I did this on GT3, it was way easier to take the test after i played with the cars first on a track without having to worry about failure. :)

I'm not gonna import... I want the prize cars for doing the tests...

If you import, then go back and do the license tests shouldn't you get the prize cars anyway? I'd hope so. Has anyone tried that? If so, I'd import just for the credits.

That's the point. If you are going to do it anyway, why do you need to import ?

Just passing the license tests in Domestic A & B are rather easy, and you will get 2 prize cars after passing them, while the credits from GT3 will give you a head start in car selection.

You answered your own question. Credits. Also, I wouldn't have to do the tests right away, I could come back and do them after I'd spent some time getting comfortable with the gameplay. Meh, I'm probably overthinking this anyway...

I only mean GT4P data, importing GT3 data for sure gives you the advantage. It is your choice anyway.

its still good that u can import you licences. that way you can get a head start on the races without waistin time with the tests. i know many will prolly still want to get all golds, but for now, i dont wana. i just wana race!

If the tests are new and orginal (not the ones in prologue) then im doing them on GT4 anyway, theres no way im gonna skip any parts of the game

But if you do the licences first then you get some free cars to race with which you can upgrade with your starting creds... which is much better than spending your first creds on a poo car that struggles to get you more creds!!

Does anybody know if you have imported the licenses and the cash from GT3 once, than play GT4 a little, and if you reset the GT4 data, can you import that license and cash again?

Regards

The data regarding the transfer is stored on you GT4 saved game. Thus if you erase the GT4 save game, no data regarding the transfer exists, so you can do it again.

Oh, thanks! I spend all my cash on crap cars! Just sad I'll have to do IB and IA all over again... my DFP did nto arrive yet! :(

Hi

When i go into home->status->start it automatically says u have already loaded cash from GT3 data. And then it says No GT4 Prologue Data to transfer which is true cos i havent got the prologue. But it doesnt give me an option to transfer licsenses, is it possible to do it from GT3->GT4?? :dunce:

Help Aprreciated

Licences are transferred from GT4: Prologue. So if you haven't got it you won't be able to transfer licences...

Gone to HOME>STATUS and after pressing START it checks both memory cards and nothing is found.
Of course, I have the same GT3 game data file in both memories, but it can't see it.
I could try stars from scratch, but I prefer keep GT3 credits and cars.
Any idea why I can't transfer them?

Don't ask me which version I have, because I don't know. Both GT3 and GT4 were bought in the same store and they appear in english 100%.

thanks
