Save During Race Update?

I was away from the game for a while since I only have the last 2 endurance races and stopped when I heard there was going to be an update to save during the race.

I apologize if this has been covered but there aren't really good search terms to find what I'm looking for. I logged on to the game recently to see if I could save during the endurance race and didn't see how to. Also didn't see any of the updates I downloaded said anything about in race save.

Is this update out? If so how do I save during a race. If it isn't out, why not? I heard about it coming out a long time ago.

Hopefully PD took the time while PSN is down to put together a nice update for us.
 
Dude that will be awesome. I was avoiding the 9 and 24 hr races for the reason alone of not being able to save mid race. I mean who wants to race for 24 straight hours? Not me!
 
Wow I really thought it was out already and I was just missing something since I've been away for a while.

How hard is it to fix this? I literally haven't played in months because I just want to beat the game and then mess around and buy all the cars I want. I can't beat the game cus I'm not leaving my PS3 on for weeks to finish the 24 hour races, only to possibly have my power go out or accidently quit during the race.

I have my fingers crossed, too ;)

At least 2 or 3 new seasonals (not counting the Muscle Car one) would do it while we wait for the In-Race-Save feature :)

If I recall it was over 2 weeks for me to get the N'ring 24HR race done on GT4.

What makes it harder now with GT5 is that we also have online races. I'm currently in 2 race series, these races are on a certain time of a certain day. So if I was to try a 24HR enduro without being able to save, as per current situation, I'd need to squeeze it between the 2 race dates. With room for a practice/setup session. I'm sure a lot of GT5 users are in a similar situation.

Ironically I could have had a go at one of the enduros with the current PSN shut-down. But the duration of the shut-down has been constantly unclear.
 
There was an earthquake around the time they were going to release the update! Give them a brake, they have bigger things to worry about!

I'm being sarcastic, I was surprised no one had said this :lol:

But yep, +1 to everyone who has said it isn't out yet but should be soon.
