Hi excuse me for what might seam like a stupid question , but when you save the save game file to a memory stick does it save all the career data as well ?

Like what leval you are on for A spec and B spec, how much money you have won and what cars you have in your garage, and the custom made tracks or is some of that stored in the main game file?

I would be greatfull if someone could take the time to say what would and would not be saved to the memory stick.
The reason i ask is cos when GT 6 comes out and GT 5 dies a slow death which it will, i want to mess about with modded cars .( i know this upsets people ) but i dont race online anyway i just want to have a play about with it to see what could be accieved and keep an old game going.

Thanks.

What saves.

Controller/wheel settings
Screen setting, sound settings
GT Life screen setting (as in backgrounds)
Your whole GT5 career progression.
(which includes A/B Spec level, money, cars, ect)

What doesn't save
Replays, pictures, tracks (which they only disappear if you delete your GT5 Game Data in Game Data Utility).

All i can think of right now

Not to upset about loss of replays and photos but if it saves my career ect i can wipe the game data and reinstall and update to 2.11 thanks for the answer

Hummmm good question. I honestly don't know bro. Ummm I would think that would also be tied to your Save Data too

Well, if you mean the TT/DTs (so basically any seasonal), I think you should be good. I don't know for sure, but I would guess on it, since the TT/DT results are saved on a remote SONY server.

I think he means his seasonal event completions. I would imagine they would be saved on the Save Data, don't you?

They are on the save data so they would be safe but you wouldn't actually be able to access the seasonal events screen because if you aren't at the latest version of the game, you get signed out of PSN automatically on game start up.
