It would really only help on the items where you have to buy them in stages instead of going straight to the final option I guess

You dont have to buy stage 1 and 2 turbo's to buy stage 3, you can buy the third stage straight off.

nope but check it mate, you might actually want all three a given snail might not be ideal for a given track ya know.

so that is why i generally go with either all three or at the minimum two.
