Started a livery and didn’t get to finish it, I saved it and the colour chip in the first box.

When I load it again, I need to use the colour chip but can’t seem to load it or use it again, how do it do this?

The colour chip that you can assign does not have a two way relationship with the selectable colour pallette... it's simply for displaying next to the car name in menus.

You might be able to go into and see what colour it is, then go back to the pallette and find the same colour.

You can reload colors from the car paint section but unfortunately not from decal colors anymore. So when I need to save custom values I either type them into a note on my phone or paint a part of the car (hood or mirrors) in that color

Seems like every time they have an update, something gets screwed up in the livery editor. Like retreiveing a custom color from a decal, or something as simple as the cursor defaulting to the upper left item, instead of what it's doing now, and going to the tabs at the top. Annoys the crap out of me.

How do I do that? The paint colour on the car is the one I need?

Open the color box, hit the custom color button and it should load in your values, then just press X once and it‘ll save the color in your recently used ones.
