Saving Firefox bookmarks as separate files

One thing in IE's favour, for me, is that it saves bookmarks (or at least did) someplace as individual files, making it way easier to sort them when they got too many (way easier to sort/delete icons)

Any way of exporting FF bookmarks as individual files rather than just one file? Other than explorting/importing to IE that is?

Import/Backup within Firefox Bookmarks let's export your bookmarks to an html file. It's all in one file.
