I know I got very lucky with the combo, I only used NY simply because I wanted an American location for the car and did not fancy a track. It was a call between Seattle and NY, as I've used Seattle more in the past I went for NY. Will be going back with more cars in the future, some great angles to be had.

The 'vette does look damn good as well, quite clean lines on the car in almost all the shots, at first I thought the front grill would end up looking nasty, but the results were spot on and it looks damn fine in blue as well.

and it looks damn fine in blue as well.

It does indeed, perfect color for that car. :) Great NY shots, it's a very difficult track to shoot IMO. 👍 I like the last pic in 3rd row most, great sunlight and shadows combination, it really gives the feeling of a street between tall buildings.

I love the third to the last shot. It looks "pimpin'" as the thugs would say it  Keep it up man, and welcome to BESTuners :D

Thanks atlop, yoy are right that NY can be a bit tricky at times, I've found that you need to play with the brightness & contrast in most shots taken in NY. It also pays to keep the car out of the shadows, one of my favorite things about NY is how the background (in the shadows) is almost monocrome, but the colour on the car is good if you keep it in the sun.

All the C3's are good, very shiny.

It is nice & shiney, it was also good fun to drive, not quick (in anything but a straight line) but very sideways around the corners, but I guess that shows in the pictures.

Great shots of the corvette! The entry for the comp is very cool, got my vote I think, not sure anymore!

good job 👍

Glad you like the 'vette, one of the most enjoyable shoots I've done in a while, which is a surprise as I normally don't like New York; but with the C3 is was a blast.

Richard Burns Tribute

As I am sure most of you are aware, English rally driver Richard Burns died last Friday (25th November) following his two year fight with a brain tumor.

My small way of showing respect is this gallery of a WRC prototype WRC Impreza in action, I hope that you find these shots a suitable reminder of the great talent he had.

A book of memorials can be found at Richard website - Richard Burns Site

I actually hadn't heard until just now. Awful to hear, I was really hoping he would pull through. R.I.P. Richard :(

A wonderful tribute to a wonderful man, Scaff.

Once again thank you for the kind words.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600

Not a big update, and in my opinion not my best work, but I wanted to get something into this weeks Manufacturers PMC. Any and all feedback welcome.

Regards

Scaff

Now off to sort out something for the PMC itself.

Quality overruns quantity comfortably here, the car looks extremely clean! Is it one of the better-made cars in the game or is it just your talent in editing? 👍

Thanks Greycap.

The car its self is quite clean, I have also discovered that red as a body colour seems to show the poor renders less.

The only work these had was a good going over with the smudge tool (one of my favorites) around the lights, panel gaps, roof line and pillars. That and 800 x 600 hides a multitude of sins. :sly:

Cool work, I really like how the pattern in the center of the rims in the banner and second pics matches the sticker on the front fender

The historic Alfa Cloverleaf, total luck on it matching the pattern in the front wheel (does look cool however).

Thanks
