That sucks.

My uncle lives in Saudi Arabia, and his company just gave him a brand new Toyota Landcruiser, and told him not to worry too much about the car.

So on the weekends he takes it out to the desert and throws it around. And gas is not a problem since its like 10 cents to the gallon or something.

Nah, he means it fairly lax in regard to how I drive it.

The company pays for fuel as well and how the UK works the tax on that I gain nothing from driving in an economical way.

My 3 series pretty much saw the red-line in every gear on every change, no reason for this to be that much different.

Many thanks.

I still don't think pictures do the car justice at all, it looks so much better in the metal, still once the weather gets a bit better I hope to get a few shots that more representative of the car.

Looks great. Nice choice. 👍

And indeed, show/tell us more.

Very nice Scaff 👍 Is the steering still as quick as in previous Alfas?

It's still as quick as previous Alfa's (2.2 lock to lock) and despite being electrically assisted maintains a fair bit of feel.

That's down to the electric motors being located on the rack itself rather than the column, makes quite a bit of a difference as well, as does switching it to dynamic which reduces the level of assistance and weights the steering up nicely.

Sounds, and likely is, similar to the system used on my Panda. Quicker rack though. An Alfa wouldn't quite be an Alfa without a sub-2.5 turn lock-to-lock steering rack.
