Congrats on the new car Scaff, it looks great in red too.

Also, not to jack your thread, but look what I have within 20 minutes of driving.

That last one goes for many miles in either direction.

Straight from one of the best-handling affordable FWD cars into one of the best-handling "affordable" RWD cars...lucky bastard.

Congrats on the new car. As others have said, I don't care for red cars, but yours is the first red E90 I can recall seeing, and it definitely increases the presence of the car two-fold. 👍
Thanks Wolfe, I certainly am enjoying it so far and will keep you posted.

Congratulations! It finally arrived! Oh, I wish I wasn't so late to this party...

Wouldn't the rev limit for the break-in be more of a suggestion than a command? Who'll know? Hehehe.

RE: Secondary ride... I'd heard they'd tuned that out with the current generation of run-flats... but still... it'd be nice to get a set of lighter tires on that when it's time to change over. :sly:
While running-in is less critical that it used to be, I still thinks it's worth doing. Not that I haven't explored a little past the 4,500rpm today, sounds much nicer at that end.

The secondary ride is still better than my Celica was, so I can't complain that much at all and if ride comfort was the main aim I would have gone for the SE trim which ride 15mm higher and has a softer set-up, which would have helped a little.

Thanks also, those roads do look fun, certainly I do have to go a little further afield to find road of that nature (but work does take me all over the country so I do get to play). B-roads in the UK have a rather unique nature as well, they are generally of a poor quality, narrow and with a very defined crown and heay camber. Certainly makes for a fun drive, not to mention google earth never does changes in elevation any justice at all.

One thing I can say is I am not missing front wheel drive at all :)
