Got scammed for the first time today. I have done a handful of trades and enjoy doing it. Now I feel skeptical about trading because there is nothing to do about it. I posted on reputation thread and in OP. No reponse, nothing.

I love this site but Im out two cars and I could have traded with a valued trader instead. What would you do?
 
I was just hoping to get one no idea what colors i was gonna paint it and tune so no biggie.

It sucks. But just shurg it off and start over, it's the only thing you can really do. Yeah it blows, I know, but it's the only way. If you see him online tell everyone and if he says he doesn't know you persist and say he's only saying that to cover his ***. But make sure you don't get kicked.

Remember, backup your game save before trading anything. That way you can't be scammed out of anything other than "1 Trade Day", if you had sent a car or a ticket. 👍

I know it stinks when a person stiffs you on a trade, but there are so many other good traders around that you will quickly recoup your loss. As evident by several posts in this thread already. ;)
 
I apologize I don't have a gt 11. I was crrtain that i did. Ill see if anyone on my friends list does and will send it to you if they do. Anything else you need in the meantime. At least this will make up for the lost trade.

On a different note.. I'm doing some Remote Racing..It's free of course, so if you want in. Put some drivers online. :)
 
I havent figured out remote racing yet, I have two little ones so I play when I can.

Im home in the winters and I BSpec alot it is similar to that right? And ok I obviously want the concept II '11

1. I went on the reputation thread and you DID NOT post anything about it there so why lie. I went there to see who it was and NO post by you there.
2. Looks like the guy just sent you the wrong car by mistake. I'm sure this could have been worked out instead of coming on here with a sob story. Sorry, just speaking my mind here.

You can have up to six drivers. Look at your driver list. It should say "share with friends" or somthing like that. You can share 1,or all. Then somebody on your FR can race them. You earn all XP and CR. :)

If thats the case, I appologize for #1. Still, no reason to come on here with a sad story. Like I said, looks like the wrong car was sent. I'm sure it could have been worked out, or maybe not. I just find that making this thread, knowing the kindness of GTPlanet members, was just another plee to get something for free. Otherwise, why make this thread here. Just my opinion and how I'm seeing things here.
 
That happened to me once. The guy wanted an LFA, in return for a Focus WRC. I sent the LFA, but never got the Focus. He deleted me from the friendlist. I got angry and added him again and again while demanding my car. He got fed up and sent the LFA back to me. Never traded again since.
