the following are a list of cars which have driver openings, due to the no shows put on by their former "drivers"


1 x Acura RSX type S

if you are interested please feel free to ask any questions, and/or PM me your selection. all new drivers will start 2 points back of last place, and will bump their team mates points up in the team points section by half of the last place points for the last two races. (i know that is hard to follow, if you need me to clear that up just ask. also the winners of the team points will recieve a real prize (like a hat, or a copy of GT4 complete or something.) please feel free to join us, we are all enjoying the series, and having a GREAT time (from what i hear from the other competitors)

hahaha... im thinking more pole position m8 :p but the going is going to be tough.. theres a lot of talented drivers in the series.. and i havnt driven the SRT-4 or any FF car since week 4 or 5 in the WRS
 
im intrested in runninig the Volvo S60
...gonna check tha rules
 
someone will have to take my volvo, sigh, I have no time...( i wish I could bring the ps2 to my office, I have more free time @ work then at home ! )

Well, it's a long series running every week through the summer. I'm sure a privateer would be welcome here and there but the stewards would probably prefer to have the seat filled on a regular basis. Check with yourlocalgod about it. The schedule's posted in the Rules link he posted just above.

Either way, welcome aboard as a fellow Acura pilot!
 
i would prefer to have a regular seat filler, if you can do that i would love to have you along. it is a one run only race, so it wont consume alot of your time, unless you want it to by practicing alot.

to the guy wanting the volvo, welcome aboard, the volvo just got an extra mod added to it, and i have not updated that in the rules yet, in addition to the mods that are listed for it, it also gets an engine balancing.

I'm interested 👍. I'm not sure how the cars and everthing is supposed to be set up, so any help would be appreciated :).
 
There's a thread that's simply called SCCA World Touring Car Challenge a little bit down on this page. That's got the rules (most of them, anyway) and the schedule.
 
Ok, I think I've got everything down now. Only 1 question about this week race, what does 2 lap "sprint" mean? In family cup I always thought that you started from a stopped position on the grid. Anyways, I'll be trying some practice runs today in the Acura :D
 
Well, at Monaco it was a rolling start. But the point was it was a 2-lapper as opposed to a 10-lapper we had for Round 1 or the 5-lapper preseason race.

I've never done OLR before - but it looks good fun, touring cars are my forte.
 
dunno, iceman has it if he wants it, but if not, then it is yours.
 
I want it :D. I've already done about 20 test laps in the RSX.
 
k full field now. and cracker, after this series i will be running one similar to it in the winter that will be all the GT class cars (like the vipers, and porsches, and the caddys etc..etc..)
