SCCA SWTC Round 4 - Results added!

Folks? I need a judgement call from you guys.

I received a time submittal from ///M-Spec on Saturday. Unfortunately he was confused and ran the race as a 2-lap Family Cup instead of going back to the 10-lap Track Meet. I PMed him about it and warned him he needed to run the 10-lapper.

So far he hasn't read that message, and I know his home state is getting nailed, (or is about to be nailed) by a hurricane. Also, there are other people who have not yet submitted times.

Would anybody object if I extended the deadline to midnight Monday night? I don't want to seem like I'm playing favorites and I will abide by whatever you guys vote.
 
How many have not submitted?

If it is going to make for a very small round, I say let it go for the extra 24 hrs... if it is only like 2-3 guys, then I would say we continue as per the usual.
 
I have no problem adding a one time 24 hours extension if that will generate more times.
I hate to see ///M-Spec getting a DNF because of a mistake.
 
Sorry about my DNF. My son got sick yesterday, and all he wanted was daddy. That took away 100% of my afternoon and evening.
 
I have no problem extending the deadline, or letting M-Spec re-run. Honest mistake, no harm, no foul.

Dennis took out my ISP on Sunday afternoon. I could hit a couple of Comcast routes, but none of their DNS servers would respond, which meant I couldn't find GTP (or anything else)

Duke should have my times.

We were okay except for some flooding down the street and some limbs down. The rest of the panhandle wasn't quite as lucky :indiff:

I have been busy. busy busy busy. I haven't had time to practice but could get the race run monday afternoon. which is sunday late evening in US.
 
OK, I got results in overnight from ///M-Spec (see msg above) and corrected total time from bhawk776 (he had a math error in his first submittal).

So that leaves h0ss, ls2_297, crazy300ZXguy, and speedy samurai as DNFs currently. Mostly I was concerned about communications errors preventing people who ran from getting times in by the deadline. h0ss and speedy have both had 'life events' interfere with running, so they didn't get the race in before the deadline. The other two are just AWOL.

What does the panel say? We currently have 13 finishers out of a field of 17 cars.
 
sorry fellas......been busy perfecting the DTM series, aswell as the to 24hr enduro's..... i dont think the people who got there times on time should be penalised, count the last 3 including me as DNF's....again sorry

A howling run by bobman, with a nice tight grouping for the rest of the Top 5. It looks like the REWARDS weights are starting to take effect. I'll update the Championship standings in a few minutes.

[edit] The average ET for the field was 15':57.270". I'm working on a little stats calculator, so I'll add additional info as I get it together. I want to be able to show evereybody's average lap time, speed, etc. but it's going to take a little time to get it organized.
 
wow!!! first place!!!!! NICE!!!! having no rewards weight deffently help me out. even at infinion when i had 45 kgs i noticed the weight. anyway ill be looking forward to my new weight and the next round!!!!
 
Congrats bobman 👍 👍 👍 on a great run, Kudos for boombexus 👍 👍 and TML 👍 for joining him on the podium.

Kinda’ disappointed to see myself outside of the top 10 after 2 consecutive podiums; I hope the weight reduction will help me in HK. :nervous:





Only down side is that once again we couldn’t break the 14 drivers barrier.

I'll say. A quick "what if" calculation told me that I'd have been in podium land if I had only strung together 10 consecutive best practice laps! :lol: :lol: :lol: ... :indiff:

With only 10 kilos coming off for REWARDS this week, I guess I'll have to try one of those crash diets before HK! :crazy:
 
Im not a great player, but it seems to me that Acura RSX... is kind of slow car...

I really would love to race Honda Civic Type R is one of my favorite cars.. is it possible ?

sorry maalcari, the RSX is very competitive. the CTR is all full at the moment, but believe me, i think the RSX will be VERY competitive, just be sure to practice and try to get some advice on car set up from some of the faster guys. ill run the RSX at last weeks event, and see how it goes. but i honestly think you just need some seat time.
 
Well, I'm back online and have survived the Hurricane. Turned out to go more east than expected. Where do you stay at M-Spec?

Congrats to Bobman with that smokin' time. I wish I could have been more competitive. Good job everyone.

EDIT: Is this the final results, or are we extended?
