Welcome To The Scenery Competition Week 2

The winner of week 2 will choose a theme for Week 4, and the Winner of Week 3 Picks Week 5's Theme, and so on.

Cars:Any (Not the focal point)
Tracks: Any
PhotoTravel: Yes

Entry must be marked 'Final Entry' in Red Text.
Entry must be a Thumbnail, Preview, or Image that does not exceed 400x300 or 300x400.
Submit only 1 Entry, must be your own work and must not appear in any other Competition.
All Elements of your Entry, must come from GT4.
You may Change your Entry twice.
*A car must be present in the photo. Just not the focal point. (jgda9rs is exempt for this week.)
Please do not ask others to Vote for your Entry.
Feel free to PM me, with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.

Image enhancement rules
(what you can and can't do in Photoshop etc.)
You may adjust brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and gamma values.
You may rotate, crop and resize the image.
You may add a border and signature to your entry.
You may NOT adjust levels, curves or sharpen the image.
You may NOT use filters, blurs or layers on your entry.
You may NOT add any elements to the original photo.

swiss: you'd definitely have the best shot if the Ring had more rednering done in the infield. looks a bit empty as it is.

i didn't bother with it as it would just look like clutter. i mean does it really matter ? if it's not the focal point, then theres no need imo
 
amen. read the part where it says that the car is not the focal point, if u know what that means. and not to concentrate on the car being driven but on the scenery instead. THAT's the regulation. in this case lets just say i used the car as a tripod lolol


ps: we should do a freestyle version of this comp david

Sorry! That was my fault for not clarifying it in the rules. We did decide on it last week, but you weren't here. I think freestyle for scenery would be great because of GT4's poor textures, but freestyle is really hard for a lot of people including myself that have limited resources. I try my best with gimp, but I don't think. That's why the artistic comp only lasted about 8 weeks. It ends up becoming a monpoly with only one person winning, and then almost no one wants to enter. I'm not really sure if we should go freestyle. I think jgda9rs should be exempt from the car rule this week because he wasn't here last week when we established it.

I just liked how bright the track was compared to the rest of the photo, thought it had great contrast.

The 6th line down under the rule was added after I made that post and after jgda submitted the entry.

The rule should be added in the start of a week, thus being added in next week, since it wasn’t in this one. Just to clarify.
 
i see. now my entry wont make the poll coz of that. i take back my apologies seeing it wasn't my fault to start with. lets get the rules together to avoid further confusion.
