the school i go to (tideway) in newhaven (uk) has been severely damaged by fire, so surreal as we always say it would be funny if the school blew up an now it has.

Wow......my school went up in flames to about 3 years ago, and it was an old school with a second and a third floor, we got a holliday of just 3 days before we were relocated to another school that provided some space for us No homework after that, and all my books were gone

It was night when it happened but the flames went on thrue the morning and I saw them But I went back to school about 5 times just to believe it and see it all over again

Pretty weard experience

Heh, at one point every school I've gone to has been burned to the ground.

Victory - burned down in 1921 after a boiler fire
Central - burned down in 1889 (unknown)
- burned down again in 1940's
G.C.V.I. - burned down in some time around 1900

gcvi never burned down, that school is like 100 years old. only one wing caught fire( my cousine in law was there when it heppened) but it was all repared.

Actually it's the oldest school in Ontario, and my aunt who works for the board has the records. But yes it may also have burned down whenever whoever else went there. Thus proving that we can't stop playing with fire.

my school (kyle academy, ayr) was flooded a few months ago, and the damage was bad, but it wasnt bad enough. we eventually went back 1 week later, so i suppose 1 unexpected week off school.....

new in is we still have to go, the damage isnt enough to keep us off for more time so years 10 and 11 are going back and me being yr 11 that means me as well 👎

il tell you what makes this a bit more funny is this.

the school had just been named a technology college, the main halll was done up with amazing sound system, super computer thing which comes down from ceiling and stuff, the library had over 100 hi tech computers put in place, the office had been redone and everything, they spent tonnes of money on it.

now its a bit of rubble on the ground. oh the irony/.
