can someone help?

I maxed out my wagon, its a beast, set the top speed up and everything, it goes about 165 during the race and it just flies through the track BUT i just finished the race and I was 50 second behind?????????????????

How do I even win this, the thing is completly MAXED out in terms of power and I am maxed out in terms of driving skill? (zing)
Yikes, something's definitely not right.

I was only topping out at 75mph and still managed to get within 19+ sec.

Started out hating it since I tried with it stock. Did upgrades a little at a time until I won. Obviously, I did the upgrades in the wrong order as the last loss was by only half a second and the win was by over a minute. The key was the stage 1 turbo, not the stage 1,2,3 engine upgrades.:grumpy:

Anyways, it was great fun getting to that point. The most fun seasonal event in my book! 👍

Just lower it as much as possible and give it the max amount of camber, and DO NOT BRAKE.. then you should be able to overtake all the other cars atleast one time. When I was driving it it was fully tuned with max camber and as low as it could go and I finished something like two laps ahead of second place.

Truly sorry about the crappy English, I'm drunk and English ain't exactly my native tongue.

This was a lot of fun. I tuned the vehicle and upped the speed. The brakes also are touchy. Great job PD!!! I hope we get to drive some of the vehicles in the race in other seasonal events.

well, all i know is i was facing smaller cars, not the same as mine, so im not sure

i will give it another shot soon and let you know what happens...and yea, I barely braked during my run and it was still 50 seconds off haha, i swear, it must be a glitch of some sort? who knows...

I usually drive with the HUD off, so when i turned it on it was lap 4 and i was 51 second off and i was like

:I ???

so lets see what happens :)

It's doable with modest skills with Sports Hard, 65 hp and an adjustable transmission... nothing else.

The trick is... don't brake. Ever. If you need to, only do so briefly and in a straight line. Keep your momentum up and your TV volume high... if you hear squealing, you're turning too hard. Modest steering inputs are necessary with this vehicle, because it's so easy to cock a wheel in the air and lose all forward drive. Take the widest line possible around the hairpins, draft where you can and profit at the end.

My father-in-law was watching as I was modding the car. I pointed out how silly it was to be able to tune the ECM on a 1942 car, and he got a kick outta it too. I wasn't expecting much, but I had a ton of fun! Hopefully PD will provide more light-hearted fun races like this. People need to relax and stop taking the game so seriously 24/7. I'm competitive, but life moves by pretty fast...

I had a blast too and hope they do more whimsical races like that, as the seasonal races can get a bit formulaic. The choice of the equally whimsical outer Cape, with its spiral and jumps, as the venue I thought was fitting.

I found that the best fun was to jack it right up, set the spring rate and dampers as low as possible and adjust the brake bias so the rear is 0 and the front is max. ReCh top speed and slam the brakes on to do a cart wheel. Also drive along and hook the steering hard to get it up on 2 wheels!

loved this seasonal so much :) I painted mine rosso corsa red, or someting along those lines :p

Cool! I didn't think of that. I might paint mine purple! Maybe we could have a Schwimmwagen festival!

For a good laugh raise suspension to 90 both ends and hit the brakes at 100kmh+
for a really good laugh do it on the top of the "jump" after the spiral, bonus points for landing on the wheels.

tried it, almost spit my coffee out! lol
