Scrap non premiums

Forza 3 has around 200 new car models, and many were modeled by shops from all over the planet. And when it was shipped it was more like 100 new models. The rest were imported from previous games, and a ton of them have some sort of flaw that manifests in improper modeling, problems in the paint shop, physics issues that need patching, etc. Compating GT5 with another game that's also a rushed work-in-progress is comparing apples and fish.

I know exactly what I'm talking about.
People are whiners.

Focus on making premiums premium!
Everything should be perfect, sound, looks, gears, transmission, springs, tires, enginespec and so on. The most important must be that theese cars act, sound and behave as they do in real life. Scrap the rest, they can be used for arcade or online "for fun".
The premiums are the ones that should be used for online "real" racings and hardcore competition.
Dont waste time on 1000 models, just do 200 of them 100% correct and this will be a great game!

This is one of the reasons why I went back to Forza3.

But i think lots can be done and im not gonna be happy about the game just because you are happy driving standards without knowing if they are simulated correctly as the premiums are.

Huh? Might try a little more fiber. Fiber is answer the always.

"Scrap non premiums"

Looks as though you are vastly outnumbered. If you don't like the non-premium cars, don't drive them. Why screw up the game for the rest of us. Some are more concerned with driving, than strictly appearance.

👎 I'd personally get bored if there were "just" 200 cars. It'd be like GT3 all over again.

You guys all use the bumperview cuz because cockpit view is wrongplaced. Its too much to left/right. In real life you have a quite centered vision just a tad to the left but still see more to the center of the car than like it in the game where it feels like driving a half car.

Wrong. I use bumper view because it's got a bigger mirror. I use hood/roof cam most of all because I get the best lap times this way, and I can see what's happening to the left & right of the car's fenders. I use behind-car cam just to see what's going on around me occasionally.

Interior view is just icing on the cake, really. I use it least of all, mostly because I drive Standards a lot more than I drive Premiums.

"You should also fly around the world modelling and recording every car."

I don't think that would help. Cars that sound awesome in real life sound like leaf blowers when PD gets through with their painstaking modelling :)

But if you took out non premiums then getting a premium would lose its cool-ness.

removing non premuim cars? NEVER!!

i love to have 1000+ cars, an probably in GT6 all of them + some new cars will be premium ( at least i hope it )

Hm, there are some cool standards, but most of them have bad engine sounds and bad graphics.
And yeah, there is growing hatred against all those 3000GT/Miata/GTR copys inside of me because Im still searching for a GT-One in the used car lot, so I would love a "scrap the car you hate on a junkyard" mode in this game.

But I don`t see a reason to remove them, its just a bonus for people who love cars. Without standards we would have no Group C cars or DTMs.
200 Premium cars are pretty good, you have every day cars, sport cars, exotics and alot of race cars + those cars are more balanced, not like 70% japanese cars 20% american cars 10% european cars like we got with the standards.
