Hi...

Has anybody else experienced this? I'm occasionally getting a huge screen tear that runs from the top right of the tv screen and attaches itself to your car? The only way to hide it is if you use the bumper cam....would seem to be a bug but can find any other threads on the subject. It only happens occasionally but as soon as the race loads and your viewing your car on the build up to the rolling start you can see it.

I've seen it on the Class C event on the HSR, the one where you have to lap under a certain time in a given time scale. I was following a Mini Cooper that at first appeared to have a cable attached to it running from the back of the car to the top left hand corner of the screen, i followed it for over a lap and it never disappeared. :odd:

I haven't experienced any yet on the PAL version, i did however experience it in the JPN version on the London track

To be honest, I've noticed at quite a lot, especially on Suzuka or Fuji down the straight when drafting and the overtake.....hopefully the GT5 won't be like that.

I have the disc version.

That "god sent" ray appeared once when I drove my M3 online at Fuji F. It didn't have any other effect, it was just annoying. I don't remember seeing any screen tearing, yet.

Looking at the screen grabs from the other thread it appears that the glitch emanates from the drivers left hand. I'll name it the 'Glove Glitch' ;)

iv had it on that ferrari race it was driving me mad had to exit the face to main menu and then start again prob solved think i was going to have a fit tho

Something like this happened to me once. I was driving slowly and I lifted my foot off the gas pedal, and the throttle bar on the HUD started to go on negative value until it went off the screen. Pretty lol moment.

@Fruitcake

As that's an Imageshack picture do you not think it would have been a better idea to post a smaller size image or a thumb-nail, all this needed was a picture not a damn billboard size poster.

Please think before posting very large images in the future.

Thanks

I have edited my reply and removed the offending image...maybe you could try and make your point without the swearing.

This sounds like a recipe for a 'Mini adventure' (from a UK ad campaign)

Man takes on Mod.
Fails.
The End.

Anyway, I'm getting a '404, Swear not found' in Scaff's post, so can't help you there

@Scaff: Fixed :)

@Davids: what's wrong with the word damn? we're not on a christian website or something..

no it's not a christian website and I'm prone to using the odd sweary word myself but you over made your point in a condescending way.

amen

I've merged your double post, something which is not permitted her at GT Planet and I have also sent you a PM, which I advise you to read.

As an addition to the PM I would ask you to consider that you are new here, the person I addressed the comment to has been a member as long as I have. Do you not think that they may be in a better position to judge the tone my post was intended in?

@Fruitcake
- Thanks
