I don't know if any of you are familiar with Gundam, the Japanese anime robots. But there are a series of toys called SD Gundam (Super Deformed), basically Gundam robots with all the proportions shrunk and stretched to make them look 'cute'. Well here's my attempt at an SD Ferrari F355, it's a bit untidy but it's not finished...

(Sorry about the writing, but I'm doing the pic. for a friend and I don't think he'd appreciate it if it was available to everybody.)
 
the SD look isnt just for gundams, is for all anime. sometimes they even do anime series in SD style. however, the ferrari looks good, but you should try to croock it even more, as I just see you just de-stretched the image and made it taller. try cutting off the roof and aking as tiny as you can, and oversizing the fenders and such.

Thanks for the positive feedback, Cano.

Actually, I didn't just stretch the image up, I did a whole lot more. If you look at the different parts of the car, you'll see that they're all proportioned differently. I used the 'distort' tool to get the basic shapes and then used different tools to create the new surfaces. It was my aim to make the windows really tall so I'm not going to change that, but your idea of making the wings wider is one that I'd like to try...:)

No, I don't see what's funny in that. That "deformation piece" to you might be a work of art for somebody else. I think you're a cocky *****, who can't seem to make a positive comment about anyone else's work but yours. I've never seen someone with an ego as big as you. You're a detestable person.

I agree, maybe doing that 'DO NOT...blah, blah, blah' was a wee bit silly, but it does sound to me like you get up a lot of people's noses, Initial Racing. In the twenty-five seconds that it took me to create the 'watermark' on my picture you could have typed at least three negative and pointless replies to someone's post, and that would certainly be a constructive way to use your precious time wouldn't it. It's not healthy to be hunched over a computer all day with all this festering negativity building up inside you. Maybe you ought to get out more.

I never said it was a fantastic picture either. I'm afraid that unfortunately I have far too little time for improving and practising my digital art skills. If only I did:(

EDIT: I've also noticed on your website that you refer to the GT-R as, 'a car I'll never have'. With an attitude like that then of course you'll never have one. It's amazing what a positive frame-of-mind can lead you to. You've obviously got some talent, now why don't you get the attitude to match it?
 
I think you should try and mimic that style of putting ultra-large wheelks in with like 30-degree cambers.

'Dumb ass', eh. Oh, how eloquently put, Inept Tracing. Oh, by the way, do you know what speech marks are used for? They're used for quoting words and phrases that other people have used previously. I don't believe I used the phrase, "dont (minus apostrophe) copy me", anywhere on my image. If this was related to anything anybody actually cared about, then that quote would be tantamount to libel, but seeing as I'm the only person that gives a toss then I'm sure it won't come to that.

P.S. Sorry chaps, for stooping down so low as to use such ridiculous pedantism, but I'm afraid the situation calls for it. From now on I promise I will ignore anything this halfwit says, as I have already wasted enough of my time responding to his pointless ramblings.
 
Ok he said a few things to piss people off, but mocking vectoring is not just mocking him, it's mocking all people that do it. Tracing is to vectoring as Van Gogh was 'just a guy that painted stuff'. I'm not trying to tread on people's toes, but it sounds like a few 'your mumma' lines are gonna come out soon if you guys don't stop *****ing and that could be embarassing.
