This is something that has been bothering me for a while, and probably other users with slow Internet connections. I was searching for "Subaru Impreza 22B" on the Imports thread. The problem is not that I didn't found what I was looking for (I actually did). If the posts I was looking at first glance (in the Search Results screen) weren't familiar enough to me to determine they contained the image I was searching for, I had to click on them. Everything up to that point: problem is, when I click one of the posts, the entire page that contains that post opens up. I seriously don't need to know what other 9/19 people posted on that page. I just want to see the post I clicked in. And in a thread like that, 9 to 19 posts more than the one I want to look at means death.

Is there a way to do what I'm asking that I don't know of? Otherwise, could you please do something about it, Jordan?

Thanks in advance. 👍

Which search?

If you use the Search this thread option, you should click the post title to go straight to the post in question

I'm using that one precisely. What I mean is that when I click the thread title, as in here...

...the entire page loads, and I just want to load the post I want to see, as if instead of loading this, to load just this.

If you're using the Advanced search and you select the option of displaying your results as "Posts" instead of "Threads", when you click on the post title as daan highlighted here, it will take you directly to the post which contains your search terms.

Something's wrong here. I am searching for "350Z" on the Imports thread, and when I click on the results the entire page on which the post is contained loads. And reading your post, Jordan, it seems like it can't be changed. :indiff: Even with the displaying results as posts, once I click into the results the entire page loads (I'm sorry for the redundancy). Basically, it continues to be as I described in post #3.

Yes, the entire page will load, but once it's finished it should automatically scroll or "jump" the page to the post that contained your keywords, with those words highlighted.
