As the title suggests the search doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

I was searching for "3d" and it told me that no results were found. I thought this strange so searched for "hello" and once again no results, and for this I know there are lots of results.

Just thought to bring this to you notice.

Thanks
Luke

EDIT: Search seems to work with other terms "Turismo" and "Racing" However it won't return any results for "hello" and "3d" is this a glitch in the software or a glitch in me working the software.

You uh... did notice this message when attempting the search for hello, right?

The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : hello

:p

Also, the GTP search will not return results on 3-letter-or-smaller words. I find the best alternative is to do a site search with Google if you're hunting for anything in particular :)

I don't get that message when using the search link from my little yellow box in the top right.

Sometimes I'll be looking for information on something, and I'll get completely unrelated results. It wasn't this way in the old theme.

They should only include the ''text here'' function like google search, so you can take text exactly like you write it. And also show comments with what you searched for. I don't want to see the latest anime while searching cars.

You should see that message displayed if you enter a common word like "hello" in the forum search.

Nothing has changed in regards to the forum search for many years. You may be thinking of the Google site-wide search, which was accessible via a link in the site's global header. That search form has now been moved to the blog's sidebar, or can be accessed directly at gtplanet.net/search.

Actually, you can match literal strings with quotation marks in forum searches. For a complete overview of the search operators available, see the FAQ.

Thats exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

Search has been working great for me. I do notice when you first click on it using an IPhone, the search box initially disappears causing you to click it again. Not that big of a deal but it does happen everytime.
