Seasonal events rally?

Is it just me, or did GT5 have way too little rallying? There are no career races on Eiger Norwand, Toscana, or that snow stage wich i cant remember the name of.

What do you think? Do you want to see more rally in future seasonal events? I sure do!

My Subaru Impreza Rally cars wants and needs to earn som money on their home turf, gravel and snow!

I tend go get a bit bored with only 1 tarmac "rally" track!

Not a fan of Rally in GT5... seems to be a game of luck, and drifting. Two things I despise.
 
rally is one of the greatest things in gt5. it´s a shame there a so few of those special events. i´d love to see some rally seasonals. repeatable please! :>
 
Rally in GT was fantastic...wish there was so much more. :( It does have a random generator...
 
I liked the rally events from GT3 where you had a circuit and made a few laps, not like the timed point to point in the current game. I dont mind the point to point for a change of pace but not for every rally event in the game.
 
Title needs an ? instead of an !. Otherwise this thread looks like an announcement of the new seasonal. Which is why I am here...
 
it would be really nice to have a rally seasonal when and if we get new seasonals

Also @ cyborg - point to point is the majority of what rally is about.

It would be good to have a seasonal for rally though, especially after such a reduced amount of rally events and tracks in the special events or licenses.

You should have a go with the track editor, there's two rally scenarios, and it only takes a couple of minutes to work out how to manipulate the tracks to your liking ... pay attention to the contour map if you want big air, and once you've finished, you can race the AI or load the track in your private lounge to race your friends online - just be sure to check the favourites box so you can find it easily.

I'd love to see a rally seasonal, or just something to give me an excuse to use all these expensive rally cars I've been buying up. I really enjoyed the special rally events but they were far too brief for me.

I know lots of people hate the GT5 rally stuff and say it's just tacked on, but I don't really have anything to compare it to so I love it! Plus there's a lot of nice tracks that I never get to use because they're limited to rally cars for the most part. Eiger full is probably the best looking track in the game, but you hardly ever see it.
 
I happen to LOVE Rally racing in GT5 and it's no doubt that I'm very good at it. It just makes me mad that there are barely any rally race courses in GT5, unlike GT4 which had like 10 rally courses. I really hope they make a seasonal that has the 3 actual rally courses and the 2 custom rally courses. I also hope they add the previous game's rally courses as that will make me a lot more happier.
 
I'm amazed some don't like the rally aspect of this game (the actual driving... of course people don't like how little there is).

It's really odd to me that there wasn't a ton of this in A Spec. They clearly put a ton of work into it and then just tacked on the implementation.

Yes, a rally seasonal should always be up there. Once it cycles out, they should replace it quickly, too. With the randomizer! And one hill climb event!
 
It would be nice to have more Rally Events, or have the course editor be able to make point-to-point courses and make rally stages.
 
I would like to see them add a rallycross track. Its getting big in the states and online you could go head to head with your friends or the ghost replay of whoever has the top times, that would make it a little more challenging and fun. Its boring racing against the clock all the time, but a head to head rallycross race, that would be awesome.
