Seasonal Expert Event Love it or hate it.

That's what I do, I run the Seasonal with a stock car and slowly tune it to be competitive. However, some tracks in the Cavalino event are really challenging and on la Sarthe I needed to heavily modify my 458 to catch the Enzo. I haven't actually tried using a stock or lightly modified Enzo though.

I haven't had a chance to go back and challenge myself with the Ferrari races yet, but those badboys sure are fast. A stock Ferrari can be quite a chore to handle, especially with my DS3. ;)

if it takes me longer then a hour to get bronze,...then its crap to me.
just like the vettel challenges, its not enjoying for me then.
i just leave theme for wat they are.

but still they have to be there!!

I LOVE IT!!! I think it is better then license test, and makes me a much better driver. Instead of using 800 hp with soft racing tires on most of the races, these expert races really keep me honest about my racing skills.

I can't be bothered with the Vettel challenges because I HATE driving the X1. I eventually got one for reaching B-spec level 35 and I only used it for B-spec grinding. I have not other use for it.

^^

I haven't completed Rally events since there is no point for me to beat them.

simply that rally events are not worthy (credit/XP) even to give a single try 👎

I love these events but I have an advice, not all of us can get 1st place in less then 3 tries, so they could keep giving credits if you get second place to encourage people to keep trying instead of keep grinding somewhere else.

I love extreme restrictions and forced challenge.

I still remember the Ford Focus@Madrid and infamous RX-7@Tsukuba. With all assits off those two races still represents the best races ever crafted in GT5.

This. I wish they would do an expert seasonal every week. Twice.

Totally agree, loved the challenge of taking as much speed as possible round the corners in the 500 and getting on the power as soon as possible in the WRX without understeering into a tree

I love the concept of handicap starts, keeping an eye on the split times and trying to overtake fast and safe. If PD only could make the AI fight for position rather than letting off the gas and letting me by. Sometimes this leads to collisions, especially when the AI slows down in the middle of a corner.

Loved them although it took me a few attempts to gold them all. Gtp has been a godsend for information regarding settings. Wouldn't have completed them without it! I think pd should release one of these expert challenges at least once a month. The fiat was the hardest for me due to it's lack of grunt. Patience paid off though with an eventual gold at over 4 secs in the lead, the ai just seemed to give up once I passed him!

I'm too busy grinding the easy seasonals to be bothered with golding the expert races.

LOVE them. It taught me alot about tuning, and definatley improved my driving. The only annoying thing was the subaru and fiat races, coming within a second of taking victory, and having to grind out the laps again to win, but that's what it's all about. Trial and error. Practice makes perfect. After winning once I found I could redo and win the events consistently

Love them. Getting the gold yesterday in the Fiat was the most rewarding thing I've done in GT5. I cannot wait for some more free time so I can try the other two out.

Love them. Doesn't mean I didn't swear a time or two while tuning and trying to figure out the best way.

I golded them all DS3. Would have been much easier with a wheel I would imagine as its the smooth consistent driving that yielded the gold for me. Braking with the DS3 leaves a lot to be desired.

Love them. I can't gold the Subbie (2nd) and the Elise (4th) but still love both events.

Those races are tough ! I've managed to beat every last seasonal event except the expert ! Closest I've come is 5th in the Fiat races, 6th in the Imprezza and 3rd in the Lotus !

I'll keep working until I beat em ! LOL !

I loved the Fiat challenge, took me 2 days to gold it....the other 2 challenges...I HATE THEM!

I hate the Elise, i've never liked that car and i've hated Suckuba from GT4 and hoped it wouldn't be in 5.
As for the Skyline challenge, that car is a boat and i hate it!

I love a good challenge, but i can't get better than 5th on either of those challenges. i gave up after 1 week of trying more set-ups than i care to recall.

I wouldn't have had a problem with any car other than the Elise and Skylines and Suckuba!
