Did the trial a total of 4 times in the Giulia, did not encounter any runaway AI that were faster than me. Although in the first trial, another player in a Giulia didn't seem happy I was winning and decided to ram me out of the checkpoint to lose the trial intentionally.

I had terribly bad luck yesterday lol. Luckily I got a few good teams..but enjoyed trying different cars than trying to beat the drivatars. I noticed that sometimes you do get some runaway drivatar lobbies. I had it happen in the very first trial in this game.I would say though more interesting to me is the use of the same roads for each category. I was hoping they mixed the trial up like they did the dirt courses thsi week.

Geist - just curious why you’ve gone for less power/less weight for this trial. Just experimenting in builds or did you conclude they were faster for these cars/courses?

Also can anyone give me some tips on tuning road cars with rally suspension. Should I be looking for similar settings to those I’d use if I was using race suspension or something different?

The lead drivatars seem to run within a range as far as I can tell. On the first course here, they might run 2.21 at best and about 2.26 at worst (if no one crashes into them or otherwise slows them down).

Last week, I had one race (at Coastside) where the lead AI ran 2.18 at the first race, a few 2.19s and most in the 2.22 to 2.25 range.

Other than me, I’ve yet to be in a Trial where any other human player has run sub 2.20 at Festival, so the fastest speed drivatars might appear to be runaways. In reality though, a top human driver can probably do about 2.14 with a completely clear run from 7th on the grid, so there’s still a fair amount of scope to catch and overtake the quickest drivatars, always assuming you can avoid being taken out in the carnage at the first main corner.

TBF, I don't have any tips, but I don't want to leave you on read.

If I use adjustable susp, I just apply -0,6/-0,3 camber and 7,0 caster + ride height in the middle (-0,5/-0,5 dirt, 0/0 CC and max ride height) and I call it a day. If it works it works :P

Also, two examples:
Giulia on stock susp felt unresponsive, even with wide front tires. With rally susp it have better turn in (even with narrow front tires).
Merc E63 with stock susp drives nice. With rally susp is very unstable.
I don't really know what I want to show with these examples or how it connects with info above. Maybe I'm just sharing my observation ;)

I have completed all of the Stories previously, and today's daily is not completing, guess it is bugged. Remember this happening on FH5
