SEAT (Spain) ?

Anyone know why Seat (Spain) took such a tiny role in this GT release ? 1 x car - albeit mine ;) - is really poor. I love Seat's, especially the old Cupra Cup before they withdrew sponsorship.
Is it just money thing? Were GT wanting to chrge them a fortune?
Anyone know?

Because they are rebagded Volkswagens, but with poorer build quality?

Granted, my SEAT is really a Golf in disguise, but if they're going to include one SEAT why not others.
 
Most people don't care too much them, I guess. Even my ex-GF hated them - and she was from Spain. :p

I think the same reason as all the other missing cars/brands..
 
It's a shame really. No SEAT but they include Daihatsu !!! lol
 
SEAT have great cars, but i still dont know why they make, for ex., one M5 premiun and one M5 standart? or iconic cars like Alpine A110 standart? and the list go on, off rant.
 
They have very few cars of any note

A few cupras and the rest is pretty boring
 
Afaik Porsch & GT = License mess

Seat Cup Car would have been great!

No,the Porsche Brand is not in the game because of license Issues, and a Ruf is a upgraded Porsche.

I'm not the biggest fan of Seat, but that 310HP Leon would do nicely in the Hot Hatch races...

I think it's the good old VW 2.0T i4, but for some anniversary they let ABT bolt on a much bigger turbo, add a special limited slip diff and sell it as a limited edition version with black wheels etc.

That's off the top of my head..

I may be biased as I own the new Leon FR (170 bhp) and I love it. Nice styling, good range of gadgets inside and very smooth at speed, plus great acceleration! I so wish it was in GT5 so that I could compare it to the real thing :(

for the same reason that doesn't also have skoda.
obviously is decision of group volkswagen to advertize - promote mainly
the VW'S

Umm... I'm looking at a skoda dealer right now, and can't see too many interesting cars. Maybe the Superb?
 
They have over-hyped japanese cars a bit in this game (100 mazdas, 20 mx 5 models, 100 nissans, hondas etc) Its easier for them to get the liscences there unlike others but there are a few cars missing

They have the top gear test track so a few cars from top gear would be good
The old reasonably priced car (chevrolet lacetti)
The new one( Kia Cee'd) or any kias
Ascari A10?
The new Fox (Jeremy saying its the best car out there)

would be much better :)

Hmmm... why not. Skoda have a Superb Combi 4x4 3.6V6 and the Octavia RS 2.0T that wouldn't be bad to have in the game...

Although I must say I would obviously prefer more up-to-date Audis in the game (A5, RS5, S4 3.0T, Quattro Concept, S7, S8) before we start adding Skodas (but that's my bias) :sly:
 
If they added a spanish car I would rather that it was the GTA Spano. What a car!

They didnt actually made the standards, they just took them from GT3, GT4 and GTPSP.
 
These cars are not in the same category. SEAT is the equivalent of Citroen and Renault, while the GTA enters in Supercar-brand range (the Spano cost 692,975€) and that seat is purely a body kit and a wing

You could say the same thing for 90% of the imaginary cars with the "...LM Racecar" suffix in GT5. :sly:
 
SEAT LEON TDI deserved to be in GT5 imho!
