It did we are talking about worst drivers in f1, e.g. Vettel![]()
As a bump, does anyone now get the feeling a Team Red Bull seat is now a step backwards? Honestly, if you'd asked me six months ago, I would have said: "No."
So one year in the Red Bull seat, then the contract is broken so Vettel can go to ____ (fill in the blank).
I know it soundsun-patriotic of me to say this, but Mark Webber is one of the most over-rated drivers in the sport at the moment. He has his moments when he comes up with something excellent, but he's a fading star when everyone else who has been in the sport as long as he has is burning brightly. As for DC, he's past it. He should have retired at the end of last year.Point in case about Red Bull having nothing wrong with them and it being down to drivers:

Yes. I thought he'd proved that by now. Unfortunately, he's a part of Williams' engine deal with Toyota: they wanted a Japanese driver in a team that had a name to it.WTF? Is Nakajima really that slow, or is he testing the new 09 aero parts during that test session? Anyways, Vettel is kicking ass in that last session.![]()

Thats the point I was trying to make - Red Bull's poor performance this year is down to the drivers and not the team or the car. Vettel isn't "stepping down"...he is quite clearly stepping up to a team with a lot of potential still, at least as much as going to Renault and Toyota.
Vettel was over 1.6 seconds faster drivng the Red Bull yesterday than he was in the STR today.
