Ok, I know that theres many threads out there bout it but becosue I've just unlocked this challenge and thought I might try it out before I go to bed I just have a quick question. I did search about it but couldnt find any thread about it. How to you run this challenge? Are you using TC or ASM etc? are you using auto or manual? Just curious as I cant get it trough the second corner at Suzuka yet, and I've so far only tried it out with no aids exept ABS 1.

Edit: I keep running outside of the track lol using a DS3

Edit: driving with manual transmition maybe it will help using auto?

Generally speaking I think the consensus seems to be all aids off except ABS: 1 and SRF: on (on controllers).

As far as the transmission, I personally find the AT to lag a bit on the downshifting. I'm faster in manual, not sure if it's the same for everyone else though.
 
Yea im faster with manual as well but on this one im using automatic so I dont have to think about shifting as im learning the car during tracks, tried with different aids as well but felt better with no aids but will try with SRF on and see how it'll work...
 
Ring: 1h DS3 + 2h steering wheel = bronze (haven't touched it since)
Monza: 1,5h steering wheel = silver (first time I actually completed it)
Suzuka: 4h steering wheel = bronce (ball ache, nearly impossible with a DS3)

My setup:
TC: 0
SRF: On
TCM: Off
ABS: 1
 
You could practice with one of the formula 1 cars to get used to very high speeds, then try it again and you might do better.
