Hi,
i was just wondering what happens if you sell cars which you have won. is there any way you can buy them again??? one example is the mercedes 300sl, can i buy this back somehow becuase in the showroom it says Cr--- so i cant buy it, or do i have to do the race in which i won it all over again.

Another thing is can i win the driving mission cars again or cant i clear the records unlike the normal races.

your garage can store 1,000 cars and money in the game is pretty plentiful... i wouldn't be selling anything unless it was a duplicate prize car--especially a valuable license prize car... even if it's a rare prize car you don't particularly like, you might as well keep it, because dude--you can have 1,000 cars in your garage... :dopey:

That's a quite astoundingly big number, when applied to credits.
Is it just for fun, or do plan to buy several of every colour of all your favorate race cars?

I don't consider selling cars worthwile, the money you get is a tiny fraction of their worth. Even the two Beetles I bought (I got the RSi first, but couldn't win with it), I've kept, dispite how much I hate them.
Also, never ever sell a car you can't buy or win again easily (prizes for enduros and large series races). I learned my lesson from selling the GT70 back in GT2.

i don't like clutter in my garage... so i'll occasionally go "house cleaning"... booting the cars i just think are silly. even if they are worth 0cr.
(kinda silly when you think about it, the concept cars should be worth MORE than standard cars.)

I usually b-spec my way around the 4-h nurb, just for kicks, when I feel like battle-testing my cars. Lo and behold: 15 Chappies. Sold 10 of them for 200K++ credits each.

Sell what you can win over and over, but never sell cars which "can only be won once."

Too bad you can't re-win the driving mission prize cars.

i must be one of the kings of clutter then... 999 cars (1 space left to sell off a prize car)... 498 of them are all the Honda/Acura cars in every color in every model i could get (99.79% of them, if you count the DN-X you can only get in 1 of 2 colors--those license-test bastitches) from every dealer/tuner... so *cough* lots of S2000s and NSXs... :scared:

Gameshark my friend... :sly:

I dont plan to buy every colour, but sometimes I buy a car, just dont like it enough, sell, rebuy... And most importantly, the race cars cost alot so...

Well, I assumed it was gameshark. The first three digits being nine, as well as your completion percentage, kinda give it away. That's still a whole lot of credits.

Wow, I wouldn't have expected one of every colour to be that many. I suppose there are a lot of Hondas.
I should probably curb my Toyota collecting before I end up with a full spectrum of everything and a full garage myself. (It's just A and T bodies now, ie; Supras and Celicas)

Yeah, I'm not into the game completion yet... I just like to test drive and track meet the cars... I like GT4 for racing first... The game's completion goes second... But since I bought my DFP yesterday I'm gonna get into the endurance races... But it seems I already have problems with the pedals... I think the wires are touching each others, I need to open it to see thats going wrong and I dont have the good screwdrivers :(

EDIT: It seems that the wires are definitly touching each others because sometimes when I got the gas pedal floored, it simply cuts... Or something strange, when I release the gas, the gas still running (in the game)... I dunno whats the problem is, BUT IT SUCKS !!!!!!! just bought it yesterday... I was so gently with it, why its doing this to me !!!!!! lol

I've sold just one of those "You can win this car just once" cars and that was the B-licence Lupo that wasn't even a special color version.
