SEMA Clue?

What do you guys think about the possibility of these being visuals to go with lightweight options?
I think it's a no brainer that we'll get something along those lines. Many of us have been asking for racing modification and a livery editor, things which are intrinsic to the motorsports world. Kaz is similarly minded. The PS3 has the power. If everything they cram into GT5 has some bandwidth available, Kaz is going to see that we get it. I'm confident that we'll get some very cool gifts in GT5. Everything? Maybe not, but I bet there are a lot of late Christmas presents.

What other features will GT5 have?

There will be 400,000 polygons per car, 100 times more than were present on GT4. GT4 had 4,000 polygons per car. You can customize and tune the cars, too.

Looks as though some customisation maybe possible, straight out of kaz's mouth from the SEMA show.

Source.

Customisation has always been possible to some extent, his comment is too vague to look too deeply into.

Yes it is a little vague, still, it gives hope to those that want that feature in GT5.

This - although I do think we'll get more than spoilers and wheels. I hope to hell we can choose dish and diameter sizes of the wheels, but I don't waat to risk being a hopeful fanboy.

Kaz did mention in a very few interviews that part of the reason they're designing their models in sections, with individual body panels, is for car customization. Of course, now he's being the usual pre-big-release-event Kazunori and is coy and evasive about almost everything. But periodically he'll mention how he's aware of what the fans want, and it helps that most of his wants line up with ours. He does want to bring as much of the automotive world into GT as possible.

I don't want to boost expectations too much because a comprehensive race mod system is almost as much trouble as a proper damage build. But I think we'll get at least a few goodies in this area, and just about everything in GT5 so far has been a surprise.

I just noticed the four exhuasts. Two in the front and two in the back. Are the front ones turbo outlets or does it have the cut-off system? Or something totally different.

them in the front are better known as scream-pipes, a pipe that is like an exhaust but they are connected to the wastegates :)
