This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

SEMA GT Award-Winning Audi TT Teased for a Gran Turismo 7 Return

Update (22/01): We’ve spoken to HPA and, unfortunately, this one is a mere slip of the finger. The company’s website was supposed to read “Gran Turismo 5” for the TT (the game in which it made its debut), and this has now been corrected. As it’s HPA’s 35th anniversary this year though, wouldn’t it be a nice way to mark it, Polyphony? The original article continues below:

I don't think HPA still owns the R32 from GT4. That car was actually listed for sale a few years ago at a Land Rover dealer in WA. The price actually made sense given the low mileage, expensive mods and historical significance of the car and VIN. I almost bought it but unfortunately, I don't have anywhere to put it :(

I still kind of wish I bought it :(

Nice, fingers crossed for a return of the HPA Golf R32!

There are so many new cars that we could get instead of this one
In my humble opinion new cars are mostly Timmy Toilet. If the PD wizards were thinking of bringing us a Porker 928 S4GT I think my heart would explode with joy.

Youtuber Volt just mentioned his on his channel yesterday. Personally I wouldn't mind more tuner cars
I wouldn't pay attention to that guy, he just pieces whatever scraps of "information" he can find and makes slideshows out of it, he goes and names every possibility and obviously he gets some hits eventually

I know. I don't think his video was any kind of magic fortune telling or anything - just wanted to put it out there

Soooo... I've heard back from HPA and... :(

You can read the meat of it in the article excerpt in post one.

As it turns out, I thought that it still owned the TT and might not own the R32 - but both being in a lot of its event videos made it appear like they were either still owned or local - but it's the other way about!

HPA has read this thread and notes that it has actually re-acquired the R32, while it's the TT that's owned by a "good client". But both cars are in the same condition as in the game, which is extraordinary given that it's 21 years (won in November 2004, arrived in February 2005) and 18/15 years (won in November 2007, arriving in December 2010) since.

Come on PD, do it. Do it, do it, do it...

At least it got people thinking and talking about HPA again. I believe one of the members here has the TT in a prediction not too long ago

So the TT is not coming on then?
