This was put together but WMS Racing in Calgary Alberta, Very Very Amazing.

It uses the 6.0L engine from a V12 Vanquish, its then stroked to 6.2L, its got a tubbed rear frame to fit the massive rear tires on (345's i believe), its also got a glass roof. You can learn more about it and see the transformation here:

Hmmm.. Impressive agreed, but couldn't they easily have found that same power with the V8 ?...

And why did they have to cut and reweld to fit 345s ?... Doesn't the stock GT come with ilke 285s ?...

It seems to me like somebody cut the wrong corners and mad some weird decisions..

It's still Impressive though - and nice craftsmanship !:..

Super nice, tasteful project.

I always thought the V12 Aston was a prime swap candidate for Fords and was wondering why you don't see them much. Nice to see how easy it fits.

EDIT: The rear suspension is a 3 link with the shocks outboard of the lower links, I suspect the shock mount gets in the way so they switched to coilovers.

Wow, ppffff 👍

I wonder how long it takes to rebuild a car like that.

That's one FUGLY Skyline dude...

Agreed...I'd prefer Blitz's ER34 to that one...and the Blitz car is a bit showy, too.

The Integra...Uhm, FF=No.

and the Mustang ain't that great, either. I'd prefer a 428CJ installation...

Purely awesome car!!!

The only thing wrong is the grille, they tried to make it look like an Aston's but it looks more like chicken wire.

Yes over those "other" cars as well. The mustang must sound [bad joke] ASTONishing!! [/bad joke]

The integra is beautiful, but I'll pass on those skyline wheels. Gross!

The mustang is a sweet project, but it's still a POS Mustang.

What is that stuff doing in a Mustang thread?
Couldn't agree more... 👍

[Edit:] There's a thread dedicated to questionable modifications IIRC...... /* snickers */

Please note how I said that "I would prefer..." one of the cars I listed. I didn't ask your opinions.

And, in regards to your comment skip, I didn't choose them because of their outrageous paint schemes. What's under the hood and what supports the chassis, is all that I need for those cars to be interesting to me. I also admire the fact that there's no abundance of huge, gaudy wings/flares/stereo equipment to slow the cars down or make the body lines horrific.

I really like the Mustang and think it turned out great! 👍
They made that Skyline look terrible! The colors are aweful. And one the wheels too?!
There are a lot of really nice cars at SEMA every year. My friends 69 Firebird is in there this year. I finally saw the pics of it today. Cant wait to talk to him and see how everything went.

That is the same as me going into the Honda/Nissan/Toyota fan club and posting a picture of a Hemi 'Cuda along with "I'd prefer..." The feedback you got should be totally expected.

Also, the bumper/sill extensions on the Skyline appear to be poorly fitted and gaudy to my eye.

EDIT: Although, I'd agree the through-the-car chassis bracing is cool and a great idea.

I am sure that many people will appreciate the import SEMA pictures in their own thread 👍

that is such a slick car... i saw a mustang cobra 04 mule car with the prototype v10 that will go into the new cobra on tv one time

That rice doesn't need to be in here, just like that Mustang doesn't need to be in an Import thread. It is common sense really.

Now, the Mustang...holy Aston power Batman! Great color...and I agree that the engine bay is just spectacular.

I always thought the V12 Aston was a prime swap candidate for Fords and was wondering why you don't see them much. Nice to see how easy it fits.

Price, you got to think that the Aston V12 would set you back at least $20k for the crate engine...or more? I'd love to know how to even GET an Aston engine much less how much it costs. If I had the $$$ you bet I'd love to stuff that V12 in a Mustang...the noise alone would be worth the price of admission. 👍

Your not refering to the Skyline being 'rice' are you because its not. Looking different doesnt make it rice, its just a matter of taste...

Yes I am actually, both of those imports are in my catagory of rice. Now let this be the last we talk about those imports...this thread is about an Aston Powered Mustang. kthx

WOW, and to think it came out of Calgary 👍
Maybe I'll get lucky and see it on the road one day, :D probbaly not but that woulde be amazing.
