850/13.629 = 62 laps @ Sarthe
62 * 4 = 248 minutes = 4 hours.

850/22.8 = 37 laps @ Nurb Nord
I dunno how long it takes for an Italia to lap Nordscheilfe.

You look at 7-8 mins per lap.
7.5*37 = 277.5 mins = 4.5 hours.

I say we use something like the Maserati Gran Turismo or maybe an M5 next time. Something that you would want to drive around the world IRL.

The Maserati Gran Turismo was going to be my pick.👍

I haven't even driven mine yet, but it looks good and just seems like the right choice. Now I am going to have to photo mode it...

Maserati Gran Turismo is a good shout for the next one, such an awesome car

Too who ever added me today from this, I tried to accept but an error popped up :(, please add again :)

I'm going to add whos both above and below me tomorrow 👍

That's a good idea to get it out of the way earlier. I'm going to do the same, because they may be some cool guys to race with

The 458 at my custom track Back Roads

I just ran a 7:32.962 at the 'ring. That's my time for now, but I'll aim to improve. It took about four laps, should I save the replay?

Are you using aides with that lap time or being cautious? The 111R can run the same time as that on SS, I'm sure the Ferrari can obliterate the 111R's time. Nice pics by the way. 👍

some @$$hole will probably end up not sending it and keep it for their self

I'm sure we are all mature enough to know that stealing is wrong.

Alright, thanks.
@shem: We're using a stock Italia on Sports Hards, I'm not sure how much better it's specs are to a tuned 111R, but I'm guessing that the Elise does have some advantages.

I believe that the best laps should be mid to high 7:20's to low 7:30's
I didn't look into it to much though.

On the ring with equal pp and tires, I believe, they should run similar times the 111R should be faster in the corners and the 458 faster on the straights

KingSakery
Maybe but I think this Thread is ok for that :D

PS: How do you post pics ?? Can you transfer them to an USB-Stick ??

I generally share the pics online then use the remote login to open them.
The file security is less this way :)

No, I turned off all driver aids except for ABS (set at 1). Trust me, after doing the lap, the Lotus would annihilate the Ferrari in the corners. You can still kick the back end out in 4th, and you have to be very careful when getting on the throttle in any turn. My first three laps were invalid because I would do something stupid and go off the track. If you have a driving wheel or turn on driving aids, you will be able to beat my time with relative ease. If you're using a DS3 without traction control like I did... best of luck.

I know there have been a ton of additions to this around the world arrangement, but could we add one more? I'd like to know who's using what (controller and driving aids) to better compare lap times to each other.

There's no way too regulate it, I feel a no TCS/other "noob" aids policy would be good. That way, our lap times will be more just.

Also: do we have to add the person before us and the person after us on PSN?

I'd prefer no SFR, but from there everything slows you down generally

Yes eventually you will have to add them, I'd say around a week before
Also it would be good to make sure everyone is still on board since I haven't heard from everyone from the previous thread

Got the car, thanks :D
Did the time trial, only managed a 7:37.2 :grumpy: But I'll post some pics up sometime today :sly:

Just received the car, hopefully it doesn't catch fire out here! :P

Edit: Just did a 7:49.037, but admittingly it was flagged since I went off the track a bit on a corner towards the mid-end of the lap. 7:54.272 would be the fastest "unflagged" lap. Your call OP.

Pics soon.

It's going to have to be an unflagged lap
