It means you're not doing enough of the following 3 things:

1. Practice.
2. Practice.
3. Practice.

If you want a good answer you'd do well to provide us with a little bit more information.

  • Do you struggle to keep control of all cars in general?
  • Do you use cars that are stock, tuned by yourself or do you take advantage of the massive tuning sub-forum.
  • Are you driving with a controller or do you have a wheel?
  • Are you new to Gran Turismo?

I'm not entirely sure that Lewis Hamilton would be good at GT6.

What's your video-gaming background?
Are you using a controller or wheel?
You say you love cars with a passion - does this mean that you actually devote a fair bit of your consciousness to RL cars?
There is a lot in GT6 that has nothing to do with actually driving the cars.

As for becoming proficient at the game - if you are new to the series, then start small, and start slow.
Master the low PP races in Career mode. Get to know the cars well. Give your muscles some gaming-memory.
Play with the cars. Learn how they react. Then move on to higher-powered machines.
Eventually you may be good enough to join GT Academy. And you won't be the first to do so that way.

Becoming an alien overnight has never been heard of.

Hope that helps. If you are really serious and not just wasting our time. :) 👍

Go to the tuning section. I'm sure at least one of your favorite cars will be listed there.

But you have to consider other things. The stock setup on most; if not all are not the cars in the game; aren't the same as its real counterparts. They are setup that way; in PD's opinion; to handle like the real car.

So do you just want to drive fast ? ... Or, do you want to drive fast in a car that's close/identical to the real car setup ?

I'm using a Ds3 controller .thanks 4 advice. , will bear that in mind !

I'm using a Ds3 controller
See if your mechanic can rig that DS3 up to your car, then let us know how you do.

Just kidding of course, I changed to using i wheel during GT4. I could not pass the last license test, the one lap at Nurburgring chasing the pace car. I pulled the cheap wheel out of the closet and after a few hours of practice, I passed that license test.

I had bought a cheap $39 wheel when I bought GT3 in a package deal. I was so used to the controller that I packed the wheel up and threw it in a closet.

After a couple or months of using that cheap wheel I bought a G25. after years of daily use I wore that out and now I am the proud owner of a G27.

You will be better with a wheel.
