The only reason I bought a PS3 was for GT5, and since it has been released, I have been utterly disappointed. The Spec 2.0 update was next to useless, maybe I would have had a little hope if they had made the clutch feel correct and work on the exhaust sounds instead of giving all the standard cars half assed interiors/ I have the G27, I really wish I had gone Fanatec, but the G27 was a steal at 220 (This was before GT5 came out) and I got it. I have the original PS3 Slim console 320gb and GT5 Collectors Edition. I think 425 would be pretty fair for all of this (Shooting to get the Fanatec GT2 wheel with an old 120gb 360). Forza 4 has really grown up. Inside Sim Racing said the clutch feel was "one of the best modeled in sim racing" and I have seen people saying the physics and graphics are excellent and the level of tuning is even better than GT5. Couple that with the fact that my garage will have muscle like the CTS-V and M5 instead of being filled with 50 different Honda Civics and it's a win-win. I thought highly of PD and GT5, and bought everything loyally, but GT5 is a drag, and I really regret my decision.

p.S. Plus I'm American, and buying Forza supports America :)

It's 30 Nissan Skylines and 40 Mazda Roadsters/Miata/MX5. :) And... good bye. There isn't anyone here that will pander to someone that has a negative vibe about the game. If you have constructive critisizm, then we'll partcipate, but complaining and saying good bye? :irked: Bye Bye!

I too bought a PS3 mainly for GT5, and you know what?

I'm not disappointed, not super happy, but not disappointed.

I think people just have too high of expectations. Gotta have this, gotta have that...

even though i think forza has the upper hand in this battle, I HATE XBOX!!! those are my two cents, i'm pretty frustrated with the car list GT has, but hey, what are you gonna do?

You should hold ono it. It's selling for under 20 euros now (similar in the US I assume), so you'll get very little for a trade in.

I know, I stopped taking him seriously after "next to useless". The Spec II update adds several new features to the game, as well as fixing previously existing problems and improving on other fields, and evidently, majority of the GT5 players are all happy to see this. GT5 has put itself in a strong position to take on the competition, and in my eyes, graphically, and physics wise, Forza 4 falls short. Yes, its car lineup, and other features such as a livery editor may be more tasteful to the casual gamer, but that doesn't make it a better game.

If GT5 isn't in your taste, please say so in a more respectful and sensible manner. Buying a video game doesn't support a country.

At lease be greatful PD takes the time to do these updates and give them for free for whiny people who are never satisfied with anything they get. They just can't just do everything all at one time. And buying it just because it's American just to support America Doesn't help in any matter.

And the Ebay listing to your GT5 racing package is ????

I'm obviously talking about the game itself, no need for such a purely cretinous response. There's other racing game's on the Ps3 that the guy might enjoy, he dosen't nee to get rid of his whole set-up because Gt5 disappoints him. Choice Wantok.............. freedom.

Gotta say that, had I any idea the problems GT5 was going to have so many problems and half-finished content (even with the 2.0 update), I would have never bought a PS3. GT is the only reason I bought one. Definitely not falling into that trap next time around. I'm not saying that I don't enjoy owning a PS3, I like Dirt 2 and 3 OK plus a few other semi-sim racers like Ferrari Challenge. I'm just saying that next time around I'm waiting and seeing how everything pans-out. (For example, will online and offline physics in GT6 be the same, or will it be all screwed up like GT5? If PD doesn't fix that, then the chances that I'll buy either a PS4 or GT6 is next to zero.) I'm not even saying that I don't like GT5, because I do, but unfortunately it still has a number of fairly crippling problems. The 2.0 update made things a lot better; hey, maybe in a year a 3.0 update will come along and finally finish the product.

Would love to try Forza 4 with a good wheel, but not really impressed with the car list (other than a great selection of Ferrari), but unfortunately not a single one of my collection of expensive wheels will work on the XBox. Regardless of how good Forza 4 is, until Microsoft gets off their high-horse and starts supporting all the existing industry-standard wheels they won't be seeing a dime from me...

Sorry, but your pathetic.
This isnt a personal attack, its stating an observed fact.

If GT5 didnt fulfill everything you wanted it to, then just quite it. Its a game. Going on a forum complaining about your decision vs a 360 game you don't yet own is downright pathetic.
Proclaiming to everyone that your getting rid of a game before you actually do is pathetic. Just do it, no one here cares.

May I suggest testosterone injections?

Spec 2 next to useless?!?
It has easily tripled the fun of the game. No more ridiculous loading times, tuning sheets, and the physics have moved from great to absolutely incredible. Playing GT5 spec 2 today has been the most fun I've ever had on a racing sim or game, easily.

If you wanna play, play. If you don't wanna play, don't play. No need to open a thread just to moan about it.

Cool Story Bro

But anyways just what danjee stated, its all true. If you don't like it, do something about it instead of complaining.

another loser that only knows how to play Need for Shift and got pissed to use the brakes to actually get in the corners...
