The only reason I bought a PS3 was for GT5, and since it has been released, I have been utterly disappointed. The Spec 2.0 update was next to useless, maybe I would have had a little hope if they had made the clutch feel correct and work on the exhaust sounds instead of giving all the standard cars half assed interiors/ I have the G27, I really wish I had gone Fanatec, but the G27 was a steal at 220 (This was before GT5 came out) and I got it. I have the original PS3 Slim console 320gb and GT5 Collectors Edition. I think 425 would be pretty fair for all of this (Shooting to get the Fanatec GT2 wheel with an old 120gb 360). Forza 4 has really grown up. Inside Sim Racing said the clutch feel was "one of the best modeled in sim racing" and I have seen people saying the physics and graphics are excellent and the level of tuning is even better than GT5. Couple that with the fact that my garage will have muscle like the CTS-V and M5 instead of being filled with 50 different Honda Civics and it's a win-win. I thought highly of PD and GT5, and bought everything loyally, but GT5 is a drag, and I really regret my decision.:sick:

p.S. Plus I'm American, and buying Forza supports America :)

Oh please, get over yourself man. You act like your life depended on GT5. It's 35$ video game that you have the choice to play or not to play. No one has a gun to your head..

i bought my ps3 (almost) only for the gt5 too, and i still think that it was a great decision (and i'm not playing too much gt5)

The PHD troll is here. At least I know how to speak 4 languages. What about you? I bet that you can't even speak your own language, and that you are thinking about killing yourself because you're not happy with spec2. I CAN SEE THAT:D You have my blessing
 
Inside sim racing also raised concerns that the physics had inbuilt aids that could not be turned off making it impossible to lose control, and that it was nearly impossible to lose a race vs the AI because they were so slow.

FM4 might be a good game, but if you expect too much you might be making this thread in a Forza forum sometime in the near future.

3. Someone saying that they aren't satisfied with gt5 has nothing to do with need for speed shift. It doesn't have anything to do with braking into corners, or whatever nonsense you were on about.

Actually, I'm considering giving my entire 360 rig and its library of three games - all Forza - to my bro as an early Christmas present. Do I get a cookie? With milk even? ;)

3-I was just joking around. most people do not like gt5 because they're used to games like need for speed(etc), that are more arcade than sim

SimRacingTonight also claims that the physics in FM4 are still very "Forza" like. I doubt that's a good thing.
Turn 10 also never fixed the 900 degree issue with the wheels.

^so basically your a racist xenophobic because usually that's the norm with people who say "doing ____ supports America" ...you're refering to the CTS-V as 'muscle'? The car that Johnny O'Connell only bothers racing because theres no room for him at Corvette Racing. Let me guess, you actually BELIEVE what Inside Sim Racing say? The same guys who referred to Shift 2 and NASCAR 2011 as "the best sims around"? ....Sheesh! Why do such people get attracted to this forum?!

The Spec 2 update wasn't useless, you are just to dumb it does make the game better. Luckily you are getting Forza. That won't help America actually.
 
You won't get rid of GT5, despite your threats. You'll still be playing it for years to come. Its just a video game. Why set your excitations so high? Just play it like any other game - play it for a few hours here and there, then do something else or play another game. Simple.

In other news, there's already a Spec 2.0 Disappointment thread, a GT5 Disappointment thread, an old thread asking "Who's stopped playing GT5?" and a newer thread asking "Who's going to drop GT5 now that Forza4 is out?" This thread covers no new ground.
