Server Connection Problems

Hi,

I just recently switched internet Modems, and now my GT5 cannot connect to the servers. Everytime I start the game, it takes an extrememly long time to get into the menus, becuase it is attempting to connect but cant.

I have tried setting a static IP on my PS3 and forwarding the GT5 ports on my router, but that hasnt worked.

Is anyone else having these problems? Have the servers been down for a long time? I find it hard to believe that they could be down for the amount of time I have been having this issue (its been weeks...)

Any Help? It is only a problem with GT5... the rest of my network works fine.
 
The servers have been fine for me everytime I have played GT5 the past few weeks (almost everyday). Are you having problems with other games too or just GT5?
 
NVM... i just found another thread on here that solved the problem for me. Seems that the GT5 servers are picky about the DNS settings
