Server Maintenance

I'm more than willing to bet that this is not the proper forum for this question, but I dunno what would be. Anyways, basically all day I have had a message on GT5 saying that:

"The server is currently undergoing maintenance.....etc"

I visited the website but didn't see anything in regards to today, and searched here and again found nothing useful, so could one of you fill me in on what this is all about, or give me a link to the proper page?

My thoughts exactly.

But.
It is now 6:20 EST.
I hate to be melodramatic, but last time it went down it was out for like a month :scared:

That was a PlayStation Network issue. This was a previously planned GT5 maintenance that is running a little past schedule.
They do say "*Please note that the exact time of the maintenance may slightly vary."
 
The last couple times the website said it would be back up by 6 p.m. Eastern, it didn't come back online for me 'til after 6 p.m. my time (Central). I wouldn't worry about it, just be patient.

Or... if you're really p o.'d, go take out your frustrations on C.O.D. or Bad Company. :sly:

Slight vary is not time-specified....This is already several hours delayed.

:lol: I'd be doin' the same, except, for me this is a good excuse to go back and do the rally events I never bothered to mess with.
