Hey everyone and greetings.

I am here trying to help out a friend of mine. He is planning to run two G27 setups with GT5 for a head-to-head competition at the yearly Fireman's Fair in our town next week. The event will be held outside. He is trying to get the internet wired, but may have to go wireless. He recently started to look at the online features in GT5, and I usually do online Time Trials, so both of us are inexperienced in this aspect.

I would like feedback on the networking and connectivity within GT5 for head-to-head setups, so we can make the event run as smooth as possible. I would like to post pictures of the event for you to see.

Thanks.

Isn't GT5 LAN race compatible? In that case you would not need Internet, just a connection from one PS3 to another PS3 with a LAN cable.

^^This.

Just to add/clarify, you need a PS3 with game for each screen you use.

GT5 have only got spilt-screen, "unhacked", if I remember right.

If you want to use more than one screen, you can try what's described here :)👍.
