Setting up your car before a race (GT mode, sport mode, race mode)

We all know modern cars now let you set up your car's components like suspension, transmission, traction control, throttle response, etc.

Many of these features should be allowed to be set up for unmodified factory cars that have these features like the Nissan GT-R, Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, BMW M3/5/6, etc.

Good idea, altho' not 100% sure how this can be applied to the game...
Wait, do something similar to what was in GT5? Like during a race you can press a button and without pausing the race you can mess around with traction control, brake force and such?
