Im hoping the car setup feature is gonna change slightly, GT3 nearly got it right by combining the strengths of both GT1 & 2 & getting rid of most of the weaknesses, namely the useless gear ratio setup in GT2. Id prefer the exact same gear ratio setup as in GT1, where it showed the RPM & speed the gear changed at. ALso id like an option were you can change the rim size, smaller tires on a rally does help, you cant be riding with 19inch rims on a rally, & for flashy replays, id prefer having large rims. Which brings me to my other point, does anyone know if the replay will include an editor as such, GT4 would be complete with that included, if there gonna spruce up the graphics y not make an editor so they can be seen in your own style replays, i aint got any complaints as such about the replays in GT, there the best coreographed in any game by far but an editor will add that special touch. oh..i forgot, a reset button, they need a reset button so you can reset the setups, and maybe an advised setup for each track.

That would be hot (regarding what u said about the replay editor.) I really would love if they had some kind of rewind or fast forward. there be times in gt3 where i want to watch a single part and i have to watch a 10 lap race for a 5 second part in my 5th lap or something. i hate doing that.

I'd like to see the return of the boost pressure adjustment , this was really handy for tweaking your set up , without removing any modifications !
Please PD can we have it back :)

Hiya! :D :O  Meow! (='.'=)

Yea I agree on the replay thing!:O I would also like to be able to setup the way I want my meters inside and outside view to be. I dont personally like the inside view's meter personally and wish you can set it back to the way GT3 looks. :O

Thanks for your opinion.

In response to your individual points,
- the Gear Ratio editor in GT3 did indeed show speed vs RPM on the graph to the left of the actual gear ratio numbers.
- changing wheels will apparently be possible and have a performance impact on your car.
- you can use the power of Photo Mode on replays which will probably afford you most of the options you desire.

Eagle you are correct but in my opinion the speed graduations were too widely spaced at 100, 200 and 300 to be useful. Anything above 350 and you are always guessing were the 400 - 450 top speed will occur.
They need to add more graduations to the graph.

can GT4 choose different size of rims?? that's amazing
i mean most other games can choose the size of rims, i dont know why GT series dont offer this option.

I have a feeling that GT4 will allow you to have different size rims. If not GT5 for sure. 👍

thx, i mean it's a must
smaller rims accel faster but less top speed and stabilty
larger gives your higher top speed and more stability during corner

If you have a quick look around Ronnn there's a few good threads on the subject of wheels.

I agree that the graph was pretty useless once you got past the 300km/h mark. It never bothered me because I test my settings by seeing where I'm redlining on straights and what revs I'm holding through turns and adjust my gears accordingly.
