so, with all the request threads, i figured instead, there could be a setup sharing thread. In this thread, take the setup from your favorite (read: favorite, not necessarily your fastest) car and post it here (say a little about it if you want, too).

rules:
1. please limit this thread to content only, meaning, no requests and no asking for ways to improve your setup.
2. if you want to comment on someone's setup, you must post one of your own.
3. please limit the amount of cars you post to a reasonable number (and try to keep them within the same post).

with these rules in place, and enough participation, this can be an extremely successful and useful thread.

now, i'll start:

2002 Toyota MR2 Spyder
full modifications, EXCEPT that i kept it NA instead of adding a turbo, and there is no rollcage (add one if you want, i havent tried it).

power: 200/241/274 depending on NA tune level (my favorite is at 200)
spring rate: 11.4/12.8
height: 89/94
bound: 2/3
rebound: 3/4
camber: 1.7/1.0
stabilizer: 3/4
full downforce
trans: auto set 9 (works for most tracks, but if you want to top out higher, i.e, use it at the nurburgring, i set it to 13)
LSD: 15/25/5
driving aids: 1/2/3

this car is tuned for overall balance, and is a handling joy. its basically a go kart, point it where you want it to go, and it goes. easily the most fun car in my entire garage.

Aston Martin Vanquish

BHP: 684 (NA Stage 3)
Spring Rate: 6.0/7.0
Ride Height: 86/90
Bound: (n/a) - semi-racing suspension-
Rebound (n/a) - semi-racing suspension-
Camber Angle: 2.0/1.0
Transmission: Auto 16 (I find this works well due to the power of the car)
All Driving Aids Enabled

Quite easily one of my favourite cars for looks but it also delivers well on high performance car tracks such as El Capitan or Nurburgring, it corners great, has good tyre endurance and incredible acceleration out of those hard braking corners! 👍

BMW M Coupé

Upgrades:-
All mods except LSD

power: 470 Brake
spring rate: 10.0 / 8.0
height: 79/79
bound: 8/8
rebound: 8/8
camber: 2.0/1.0
stabilizer: 5/5
downforce: 30/30
trans: auto setting - 13
Brakes 6/6

It may be a hideously ugly car but its amazing to drive, very neutral handling and can be made to oversteer at will.

Handles pretty well and is a blast to drive! Straight-line braking is not necessary. Twitchy at top speed on rough road.

NOTES:
When getting the Altezza Touring Car, the RED color matches best with the overall appearance of the car. There is also a YELLOW and BLUE, but the RED matches best. Just FYI. I think the car looks kinda silly with YELLOW, but read really matches and flows with the overall look of the vehicle.

This car is super-easy to controll.
Turns feel so natural and glorious.
The Ultra High 10K redline makes this car a winner and very fun to drive.
My Altezza Touring Car has 550hp and 3,6XX miles. (started with 560hp I think)

It is competitive against other rear-wheel drive cars up to about 700hp.
Its the underdog as far as power, but you make up the power with superior braking and flawless cornering. You can literaly drive the same line on the track over and over. This car is also setup to brake until the last minute, then downshifing an extra gear, staying in the Turbo RPMs and quickly exiting the corner.

The Turbo Lag is a problem. I have found a few ways around it. You can use nitrous for the lower RPMs to get you going into the full spool of the turbo.
Also, when cornering sometimes its best to downshift an extra gear keeping you in the higher revs (8-10K) and then upshifting at 10K when exiting the corner.

The Super Stiff Springs and Ultra Low ride height of this car make it a track master.
It is prone to Bouncing slightly on tracks with hills.
If used on Tracks with Hills and High Speeds, you might want to raise the car a few MM and loosen the springs a little bit.

As nice as all those Bentley/R92CP Racecars are, the most I enjoy driving my Audi TT.

Audi TT 3.2
431 HP

Susp:
Spring Rate: 15 12.6
Height : 96 96
Shock Bound 5 5
Rebound 10 10
Camber 3.2 2.2
Toe -2 -1
Stab. 4 4

Gear: Auto 12
5th 0.942
6th 0.755

Pretty cool this way, cause it has a great Acceleration, but still makes 280.

I've done pretty well so far, won even 150 points Races with it, even though this is my first GT game.

Any suggestions on above settings, cause I'm a total noob (^first GT game) and it's my second language, so some things are not quite clear to me, especially about the slips.
