Sharing DLC across accounts

Hi guys,
Ok I have 2 accounts-one for me and one for my bro so I wanted to know if I bought the complete DLC pack then would I be able to use them on both accounts? We both play on the same ps3.

Yes, you have to download the gt5 family share pack ( I don't remember the exact name) through the ps store and you should be all set.

Which is also a free download, I should add. Also he will have to install the packs from the DLC button on the main menu

The only thing it will not share are the paints and gears

Ah right excellent, thanks a lot for the information. Do you know how much more the family pack costs compared to the regular pack (I don't have access to my ps3 for a while).

Free upgrade for DLC race car pack and track pack 1 only - the function is integral in all subsequent DLC packs. Racing Gear pack and Paint pack are excluded.

Hello, I just (this past weekend) discovered a glitch/problem with my Family Share.
I was in a room (on-line) and the host started changing tracks, eventually we were at SPA, and I got a message that said I couldn`t enter the track unless I went to the PS store and bought the download.
So I sat the race out until the track was changed again, but I finally left and while I was in the lobby, I checked to see if Spa was listed, it wasn`t.
I went to the account that the DLC was bought on and it was avail. and I entered a room for confirmation.
So somehow the Family Share plan isn`t kicking in for this one item, I seem to have all other items and just by chance found this out.
What should I do?

Maybe you forgot to installed it the first menu when you can go arcade or track editor?
..the big red button, I dont know really.
Spa was with Space kart too, do you have the track Space kart listed?

Hello, today I went to the account w/dlc and re-downloaded the track pack and sure enough it hadn`t been sent to the other accounts. But why was it sent to that account, HMMM.
Well anyway, all is well, I have the Kart track and Spa, I`m a happy camper again.

I have used the famill pack upgrade and it works with everything except paint.

However i cannot find the recing gear dlc on ps store :s

If I remember correctly that pack is no longer available.
