Sharing with WMP

Hi,
I have WMP 11 and my brother has WMP 12. How can we share music and other media using WMP? Thanks

Both your computers need to be on the same wired and/or wireless network. I think in WMP 11 you turn on Media Streaming and in WMP 12 you turn on Media Streaming. Then both PC's should be recognised on the other PC's. Just google your topic if you need more help. Good Luck!

I've done that but both computers do not recognize each other in WMP even though it is accessible through my network places.

Maybe your brother should download WMP 11 and so both of you will have WMP 11 and there might be a better change of recognising each other.
