it is a usb box for you ps2 that adds 4 more usb ports to our ps2 (5 in total since you have to plug it into one of the ps2 usb ports)

That sounds right. Though I can't think of any reason to use such a device. The only things I've ever plugged into my USB ports are a keyboard and my wheel.

Are there any other USB devices for the Playstation 2?
