If you have any fatty drift replays and a sharkport (x-port), post them here. I put this thread here, because I realize most ppl don't have the video equipment to make a "Drift Video" and it would be cool to see many different ppl in action.

I'd like to see how the majority of ppl are drifting. Rather than just the "Uber Drifters". (although those ppl are welcome too, of course)

If you aren't sure if you're doing something right, then post your replay, and ask for advice. I'm sure there are enough veteran drifters out there, that will help you out.

this is a pretty good idea cos im gonna get a x-port soon but wont be able to make a video ill post about 90 reeplays if u make it a sticky!;)

I hope this works. I'm still trying to get the file managment down for the sharkport. It's kinda hard to figure out, what's what.

Here is a drift replay of my Evo. V at Trial Mnt.(I hope) Check it out. Tell me what you think. Give me some pointers. I'm pretty new to drifting.

**NOTE**: The phrase "Dude...You suck!" is not very helpful. Thank you.

If it doesn't go to your PS2 change it over to sps. extension instead of Xps. I am using an NTSC X-port So I believe, this will only work on NTSC machines.(I could be wrong) It should be called "fatty drifts" in your PS2.

to make it a sticky click on the "admin options" options button at the bottom of the page and then click stick/unstick thread (hopefully itll work!)

I think it is a very good, idea, that way if people have question on what they are doing wrong, they can show us the replay instead of trying to explain what is going wrong for them, and they can get more accurate answers.

Thanks All,

I tried to make it a sticky, but it said that I wasn't authorized to do it.

As for changing the file types, I don't believe so, unless someone made a custom player that can understand GT3 programing language. All of the images and physics and tracks and everything else is on the GT3 disc The replay data that you can trade just tells the the GT3 disc and PS2 what to do with it.(where to place the car on the track and what-not) So, you need an outside recorder from the TV to capture only the picture, not the actual replay data.

I hope that explains a little.

Did anyone check out my replay? Does it work properly?

I checked it and you're just climbing up the walls :).

PAL and NTSC replay files aren't compatible but I found one thing out of your replay that you should consider doing, change to manual transmission ;).

Well I'll just one of my replays too if someone wants to try it.
I have clips of this replay on my MR2 video on my site.

Don't know how much they're there but I got my X-Port for about 40€ which is about the same in USD.

It goes to from your PS2's USB to pc's USB-port.
I'm sure you can some more info with a search. :)

Hi,

What do you mean, "climbing up the walls"? Like, actually climbing up walls, or I just suck at drifting, or both? I don't recall climbing up walls and saving it. I'll check it out to see what you're talking about.

And as for the auto gearbox, my logitech wheels down shift paddle doesn't want to work all the time. So, I've had to go to auto, until I can fix it or get a new one. A real bummer.

OK, I think I know what you're talking about. That was the wrong save. It was my RX-7 FC before I tuned it for drift, so when I turned in, I gripped too much, instead of drifting right away. I was on the turn markers allot. :D

Noo, it's just as I said. PAL and NTSC replay files aren't compatible so the game reads them wrong if it's from another region.

OK, now I finnally got it. This the Evo V replay that I've been trying to post. I just started drifting about a couple of weeks ago, so this may not be pretty

Let me know how I'm doing.

This is an NTSC (U.S.) replay:
