Sharkport\Gameshark not loading? Look here!

Well, on some Playstation 2's Sharkport and Gameshark .v2 don't load. They bring up the red screen that says Insert Playstation or Playstation 2 format disc. Don't you hate that? Anyway, I figured out a way to make it work. Take any disc you have in your PS2 out, close the tray and hit reset. When it loads up, go into browser: put in a regular game that loads up all the time for you, (ex. GT3) wait for the disc icon to show up in browser, once it's done take out the game and put in your Sharkport\GS2 and wait for it to load the blue\purple disc icon. Now go to it and push X and it should load up. It doesnt work all of the time right away, so you might have to give it a few tries if it doesnt wanna go the first time. But its the cheaper alternative to buying a new one that will most likely do the same thing.

I wonder if its possible to make a copy of the SharkPort DIsc so it works on the PS2?

I dont know, I tried it with a Gameshark CD but it loaded up on my dvd rom as Crazy Taxi and I couldnt copy any files

You can't run copies on your ps2 without a mod chip or doing the knife trick etc.
